Quaint two bedroom cabin just a few steps away from and on Mountain Rest Lake.

The cabin has a beautiful front view, it’s well equipped with everything needed, and features a cozy, welcoming decor. The hosts were very kind and helpful. We would definitely recommend this place.

Stayed a week with our Grandson. One of the best places we've ever stayed. He loved kayaking, fishing and jumping off the dock. The place was clean and had everything we wanted and needed. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy mountain cabin!The cabin was spotlessly clean and incredibly inviting from the moment we arrived. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we slept so well every night. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, which made cooking meals a real pleasure.We loved taking the kayaks out on the beautiful lake and enjoyed the peaceful, serene setting. The location was perfect, with a quick drive to many stunning hikes in the Summer National Forest.Our host was fantastic. Communication was clear, timely, and effective, and the hospitality felt genuinely warm.We would recommend this cabin 10/10 and would definitely return someday. It was exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway!

We immediately felt we were Home. Set up for a Cooks kitchen has all the dishes, mixing bowls cutting boards, quality knives & tools & pans, etc. Master bed soooo comfy, mattress, pillows. Quality towels, linens perfect softness & weight. Didn’t use 2nd bedroom. Although adorably decorated. Great water pressure & plenty of hot water for showers. We watched the amazing sunsets every night from the living room or one of the 2 decks. The dock at waterside was fun to watch the fish, next time we’ll fish & kayak. Didn’t want to leave.

This was a wonderful cabin to stay in. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing with an awesome lake. There are plenty of activities to do at the cabin or in the nearby areas, we will definitely be back again!

The cabin was clean, except for you should have an exterminator come in. You have a roach problem. In the kitchen and in the bathroom.The only other suggestion I could have for you is for you to get a satellite and maybe be charged just a little bit more so that at least somebody could watch TV and sports and movies.And if you had one of the dusters for outside to get rid of the cobwebs, cobwebs are everywhere.

We had a lovely weekend! The kayaks were a big hit with the kids and we enjoyed trying to catch fish from the dock. The trail to the pigpen falls was excellent as well.

Absolutely love this cabin and the property. The views and access to the lake are priceless. The amenities are appreciated and our boys love the paddle boards and fishing!

This is our second time staying here and hopefully will not be our last. This property is seriously something special. There's something about it that just instantly feels like home and always has us leaving feeling recharged. The cabin is wonderfully equipped with everything you may need to enjoy your stay. It's always clean and kept up. There's so much to do from enjoying the views in the home or on the deck, paddles on the lake, or exploring the area. We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to visit again and can't wait to return. Thank you!

A beautiful quiet cabin on an extremely peaceful lake. Spent four wonderful days there in perfect relaxation. Everything you need! A lovely set of canoes and paddle boards will really help you to enjoy the water.

We had a great stay here! The place was clean and well kept, and the owner was very helpful. The lake was small (which we knew ahead of time), but it was great for paddling and swimming in. And we loved how peaceful the lake was (no motor boats)! We had our own paddleboards so we didn't use the owner crafts, but they had multiple kayaks/paddleboards available for use. Overall a great stay and we will be back!

This property was awesome, tucked away on a private lake in the middle of nowhere! The space was cozy clean and very entertaining.

this cabin was fabulous! overlooking the lake it was the perfect respite i needed. i took the kayak out early mornings and in the evening. the convenience of being right on the water is everything. the cabin is well stocked and the bed was super comfy. there’s no reason to leave!!i was traveling solo, and margaret checked in to make sure i arrived safely. that’s incredible hospitality, thank you!

Our second time staying here, it was just as great as the first! The beauty and peacefulness of the area is worth each minute! Our third staying coming soon!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin and enjoyed our time at the little lake. I had booked it for my wife's birthday and we were there with our two children (ages 8 & 11). The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Dishes, utensils, cookware, grills, kayaks, life jackets, sunscreen, bug spray, etc. The amenities were abundant and thoughtful. We enjoyed the little private dock, kayaking around the lake, swimming, and fishing, although we didn't catch anything. The evenings were quiet and relaxing while we cooked and played board games. For anyone who can't disconnect, the cabin has high speed WiFi, which is appreciated, since we had no service through T-Mobile. The lake and surrounding area was serene and peaceful, just what we were looking for. The cabin is a hidden gem and we will definitely return in the future.

We had a wonderful time. Lake is calm and peaceful. Had fun fishing off the dock and using the kayaks and canoe. The house is well-equipped and comfortable. We will be back!

I want to give a very special thank you to the owner, who accommodated me during a hard time. That was very kind of you. The cabin was beautiful and had a very close to home vibe. I brought my niece and 2 young daughters. They were in awe. We had fun swimming in the lake, jumping from the dock and eating breakfast while watching the sunrise. So beautiful. If you have any doubts about booking, JUST DO IT!!! So worth it.

The host and lodging are excellent.

The house was how it was described. Very nice and cozy. We caught fish off the dock, but didn't get to go out in the canoe. (A little cold for us still.) Beautiful view in the morning with the reflection of the lake and the trees. We will be back

The view of the lake from this cabin is spectacular! We enjoyed walking out on the dock and sitting for a while. Great location for pictures. The cabin is very nice inside with beautiful pine paneling and interesting decor. The cabin had everything we needed for a long weekend trip. We enjoyed riding the mountain roads and exploring some of the nearby parks. We hope to return again for another relaxing weekend.

The best four days we could ask for to celebrate our anniversary and husband's birthday. The area is peaceful! The cabin is beautiful! We will be back
