We stayed at Christmas and to our surprise the cabin was decorated and extremely cozy, not having internet was very special for our family's connection, the place is amazing, we have extraordinary experience and Hope helped us in every detail…We'll be back in the summer!

The host was great very accommodating in everyway. The cabin was great especially that we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary there. We love the quietness. This was our second time at this cabin. We definitely will be back.

This cabin is so private and peaceful. Very convenient to Roan State Park, the AT, and other hiking trails. Loved to sit on the porch and listen to the stream! Host made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely come again!

All the positive reviews don't do this property (and its host) justice. Our stay was exquisite from beginning to end and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Hope is extremely kind and thoughtful without being intrusive. I can't recommend this property enough!

Peaceful, serene, relaxing vacation! Quiet location with deer roaming and the trickling sounds of the creek. Very clean! Perfect spot for our weekend family getaway! Definitely want to revisit this one in the future!

We absolutely loved the cabin and can’t wait to book our return two. The cabin was perfect and the property was astonishingly beautiful. We had a great time playing in the creek, playing games in the yard and having an outdoor movie night. A weekend of digital detox was well needed. The 4th of July parade and party in Banner Elk and Roan Mountain fireworks were amazing!

We love this place. It is our 3rd time staying here. The property is beautiful. You have what you need and nothing more. We love making fires by the creek, the kids romp through the fields and in the creek and look for critters. They play non-stop because there are no other distractions. We love how close it is to Roan Mtn, but honestly my kids never want to leave the property. Highly recommend.

I have just concluded my third visit to this beautiful property. The serenity and peacefulness of this incredible cabin keeps calling me back for another visit. Yes, there is no internet or cellular connectivity in this location, but that is just what you need to get off the grid and regain your sanity in these turbulent times. I fully expect I’ll be back for a fourth visit in the not too distant future. I strongly recommend a visit You won’t regret it.

The cabin was rich with family history. The creek and wooded setting made sitting outside on the porch my favorite thing to do! It’s a chance to disconnect and relax! Wish we had been able to stay longer!

We really loved this property. It was so cozy and restful for our trip. The front porch swing was probably my favorite spot but the living room was also great for my entire family. A sweet bonus was family memorabilia sprinkled throughout the house. It was everything and more. Will definitely be returning!

There was a collective 'Wow' when we drove onto the property; so beautiful with the stream, the woods, and the cabin! The cabin was very comfortable and clean. Things were laid out and labelled well. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. My wife and I so enjoyed the mornings with coffee on the front porch rocking chairs. Very relaxing. The communication with the owner was prompt, courteous and accommodating. We enjoyed watching a movie inside as well as outside with the projector. I highly recommend!

Another enjoyable stay at this cabin. Kids had a great time playing outside enjoying the creek, firepit, fireflies and property.
