Stayed Apr 10, 2025There is no river adjoining property. Its a nice place but doesnt have any window coverings. The sheets smell like the wood closet rhey are stored in. Very little toilet paper to use! Cute place. Bed isnt very comfortable and small and couch bed is very old and uncomfortable.

Stayed May 2, 2024This has been one of my favorite properties. The owner was easy to reach, the property was modern yet rustic and clean. We stayed there while visiting my daughter at FSU and it was only a half hour away. Took a day trip to Panama City, which was two hours away, but mostly enjoyed, the property itself. We went hiking and really enjoyed ourselves. There is even a Publix nearby. We loved it.

Stayed Aug 29, 2025We are repeat visitors and this property never disappoints. If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind this wildlife sanctuary is a great choice. This rustic cabin in the woods is clean, comfortable and above all else PEACEFUL. The host is responsive and accommodating and the 20-acre property seems completely isolated but is close enough to town to make everything convenient. We launched our kayaks from both the Upper and Lower Wakulla Bridges (less than 5 and 10 min drive away) and we truly enjoyed the fire pit and stargazing after dark. Definitely recommend for nature loving travelers.

Stayed Mar 22, 2025Quiet and peaceful cabin. We had the opportunity to see deer, turkey and a rabbit on the property. Cozy. Starlink worked great. Fire pit and star gazing. Would recommend this property for anyone seeking a quiet retreat.

Stayed Dec 30, 2024The house was perfect for 2 adults and a dog. The appliances were all new and fully functional. The front porch was perfect to relax and observe the beauty of the front yard. We were able to walk the property a few days, exploring the grounds. I saw 3 doe and my first buck at the property. We also saw turkeys on the property. It was just far enough out of town to be remote but yet close enough to town and the gulf if needed. It was very relaxing!
