One bedroom cabin with inside toilet and stand up loft. PET FRIENDLY!

It was good for one night. Only a portable toilet inside. No running water. No way to clean up. Easy to get to and close to town but no view. Did have some instant breakfast items and coffee.

Pros: pet friendly. However, after a long day of driving I REALLY wanted a hot shower but this is a completely dry cabin which is fine, but it doesn’t say in the listing whether or not there is a shower so I guess I should have assumed not. Couldn’t figure out how to bring the ladder down to sleep upstairs (was fastened with a chain that could not be undone) and went to message the owner but the WiFi from the hosts cabin (right across from the rental) did not reach my cabin. Ended up sleeping on the couch which wasn’t very comfortable. The blanket and pillow provided downstairs were dirty and had hair on them. They also didn’t smell clean like detergent, etc. Walked my dog on the main road and stepped in dog poop within the first 5 min of the walk. Multiple melting rainy/snow piles of mushy poop everywhere that’s been left behind from the neighborhood I’m guessing. Thankfully its breakup so I found a melted puddle to clean off my boot. Area was quiet but not much privacy from the location/view of the cabin. Ended up leaving at 3am to continue my trip because I couldn’t sleep. Stay itself was just “okay” but for the reasons listed above would not stay here again.

The host was extremely nice and welcoming. There was no WIFI at all even though it was listed on site. The inside toilet was a port o potty. No running water or sink in cabin. No was to wash your hands or brush your teeth. We ended up using the water from the jug that was given. The host did mention we could use his bathroom in his house. We did not shower there because it was too much of an inconvenience for us to get dressed to go take a shower. Im sure most people wouldnt mind. Also a big disappointment was the small tv/computer that wasnt hooked up to cable or any tv service. We were only offered children's movies on dvds.

Exactly as advertised, no surprises!

It is a cute, cozy cabin with all the necessities. The shower facility is not available at the property, but the owner lives right beside it, and he was super accomodating and helpul. Very quick to resspond and solution oriented owner. Great experience.

Cute and rustic Alaskan loft cabin. It's exactly as described if not better and Curt the owner is available for anything you need. I stayed here while going to a convention and then brought my 3 yr old son up for a night. Has all the necessities plus cool little touches you don’t think about. I highly recommend and will happily come back in the future.

Close to Talkeetna while being quite and away from the crowds.

We love visiting Talkeetna area. This one bedroom dry cabin is set up well and includes simple breakfast. The main bed is up in a loft so make sure you can climb a ladder. The bed is ok, but we would have preferred more pillows. Also be ready to use a compost toilet. We would stay here again. It is an Alaskan dry cabin, so it's like camping but with the tent already set up. :-)

Quiet setting, host was very accommodating. 10 minutes out from Talkeetna. I would recommend, for those who are agile enough to climb the ladder to loft.

Everything you could need. Our kids are loving it!

Cabin is exactly what the listing describes. It was perfect for our adventures around Talkeetna! We met the host just prior to checking out and he is fantastic! Would 100% recommend!

My wife and I enyoyed a nice sunny weekend here. Wifi was a little spotty, but everything else was great. Curt was welcoming and very friendly.

We were comfortable but add should more clearly describe this as a “dry” cabin. No running water, no shower. But we were warm snd it was clean.

After a long day of travel, I went straight to bed and checked out the early the next morning. I didn’t have much time to enjoy but the bed was comfortable and I slept well!

Our stay was a perfect dry cabin Alaskan experience. We are locals who needed an overnight stay between our Anchorage - Fairbanks drive. We had a lovely fire at night. There was a variety of goodies, movies, books provided. Curt met us when we arrived and went over everything. He also saw us on our way out. Very kind! Highly recommend as a place to stay.

I would totally recommend this place! The manager/owner was there and showed us everything we needed to know.The cabin was amazing,comes with a cool loft as well as drop down steps! I would so go there again in a heartbeat
