Stayed there with our twos dogs and the location was perfect. Camp was very clean and is directly on the water, even had a dock for us to dock our fishing boat. It has everything you need. Beautiful big windows in the front let in so much natural light and the sunsets views are perfect from the front deck. I do wish the camp had a bigger bed the double was a little tight for us but other than that the place was percent for us.

The spectacular view more than makes up for what is missing, no microwave, no internet, no hairdryer. The house is a little decrepit but the view is priceless. Sit on the deck and watch the sun set over the lake.

I loved this cabin. Waking up in the morning to the view of the gorgeous lake and the sound of the loons was everything. The cabin is clean and had everything we needed sleep, eat, and shower. There was plenty of space inside and outside. The property was private and quiet. We loved the huge spacious deck which is where we spent most of our time when we were not out. I actually slept on the deck the first night and loved it. We didn't do any outdoor cooking because of the ban due to lack of rain. But defintely be using the outdoor grill and gazebo next time. Can't wait!

We had a wonderful stay! This place is clean and has all the kitchen accessories you need. Plenty of hot water for showering. The location is great, we kayaked and canoed and caught lots of fish. Swimming too! Convenient home base for visiting Baxter State Park. If you really want to disconnect, this is the spot.

loved the view..I had a fall before my stay so I didn't get out on the water much. We played board games and had good meals. The bedding and linens were luxurious ! My daughter and grandson did get to kayak. The most exciting thing was when the eagle and the juvenile landed on the rock out in the water !

This is a cabin on a lake. It's simple. No tv, microwave, washer/dryer or dishwasher. It has 2 bedrooms and a large living area. It was super clean. Basic cooking needs. Sometimes you need to be creative. The outdoor grill worked great. Best of all is the lake! Crisp clean water! Lots of fish caught off the dock. Definitely recommend!!

Great well kept lake front camp. Not roughing it by any means. Extremely clean and welcoming. Lake is very quiet, even on a holiday weekend. Camp is close enough to town if you need grab something. Overall wonderful experience. Hated leave.

Property was perfect for us. Clean with everything we needed. This is a simple rustic type place, nothing fancy, but like I said: clean, spacious, good kitchen, beds were comfy, hot water for showers. View off the deck was beautiful. Watched a loon one morning while drinking my coffee. No complaints and would stay again!

My kids (14, 12) and I like to have an end-of-summer getaway before school starts. We usually try to get as far from the beaten path as possible and stay in waterfront cabins. This cabin was *perfect* for that! The highlight for us was definitely being right on the water. We spent most of the time we weren't in or on the water sitting on the deck, listening to the loons, watching eagles perch on the rocks, and just generally soaking in the peace and quiet. It was incredibly relaxing. The cabin itself was easy to stay in--power, running water, refrigerator etc felt quite luxurious compared with some of the more primitive places we've stayed in past years. If you are looking for a high-end luxury stay this is not the property for you, but if you want to be right on the water with all modern conveniences this place is perfect. The swimming and fishing were excellent, and it was great to have the dock for our kayaks. I will note that if you are looking for a spot with a deep-water dock appropriate for diving or jumping off, the water was not deep enough for that in the current position of the dock. The bottom is rocky which I prefer greatly to mud/muck/weeds. Succinct highlights: hungry smallmouths, especially off of the island directly across the lake, loons and eagles galore, lots of privacy from neighbors, the crazy sawdust pile, driving the golden road to Greenville, proximity to Millinocket for shopping. Katahdin Air were super nice and easy to rent kayaks from!
