Stayed Jun 20, 2025We liked everything. You have to rent this place to read what I wrote in the visitor log. I do have one complaint. Dave and Jan can never be partners again in cards. Sheri and I lost every game. Oh, Thanks for providing games, puzzles, and (I guess) cards.

Stayed Jul 11, 2025My friends and I rented this property for a weekend & it was absolutely perfect!! As close as you can get to Blue Sky Winery, and within 20 minutes of cool hiking in Giant City. House was very clean and cozy! There was also 24 hour surveillance of the property & it felt very safe. My friends and I will definitely be back :)

Stayed Oct 4, 2024Family girl weekend of four generations ranging in ages from 13-81 stayed the weekend and had a great time being together visiting, playing games, shopping and eating out. Enjoyed the shops in Makanda and eating at Giant City Lodge. The house was very clean and spacious and was perfect for our weekend getaway. Everything was perfect!!!

The open concept was perfect for spending time together and the proximity to wineries was nice. It was very clean and welcoming from the start. The host was helpful. I recommend this place and will probably stay again in the future!
