Stayed Feb 6, 2026Darling, simple cottage. Comfortable beds. Very functional kitchen. Lots of thoughtful touches. Lovely 3-season room on the front. Conveniently located for access to Houghton Lake and Higgins Lake. Would recommend with 2 caveats -1. Bring slippers. The floor is slab with carpet squares. Cute, but hard and super cold in the winter. 2. The fireplace is not woodburning. It's an electric space heater intended for a bit of ambiance and maybe a little heat. Don't expect the wonderful heat of a wood burning fireplace.

Stayed Sep 26, 2025This cabin was great! Just perfect for our needs. Very clean and had everything we could possibly need and more! It was the perfect location for us to access both Houghton and Higgins lakes! Everyone was pleasant and accommodating and I’d recommend for anyone looking to just enjoy the outdoors and a peaceful community. We loved the sun porch and fire pit areas. Thank you for a great stay! Can’t wait to come back again :)
