Stayed Sep 4, 2025Beautiful cabin with beautiful views of the private lake. With a hot tub, sauna and lake boats, this is the best place to stay (unless there were hypothetically a cabin on the peak of Denali, which there is not). A short drive from a few restaurants and is right across the street from a grocery store, this is the perfect visit for a week tour of Alaska.Also, Jessica, owner/host goes out of her way to make you feel at home.

Stayed Sep 18, 2024We only stayed 1 night on our way from Seward to Fairbanks. Wish we would have planned for longer. The home is very clean and comfortable. The property is beautiful with a very nice lake and surrounded by woods.

Stayed Aug 15, 2024My girlfriend and I loved our stay here! The host has put in so much thought and detail to make this one of the best experiences you'll have. Being able to relax in our own hot tub after a beautiful hike was amazing. If you're thinking about staying here - do it! You'll be glad you did!

Stayed Mar 2, 2024I couldn't have been more pleased with this jewel of a cabin! Excellent location with easy access while immediately being faced with the beauty of Talkeetna area. The cabin itself had such great detail and warm touches. And the pure luxury of a hot soak under the stars and Northern lights! Jessica and Derek have created a magical place ✨️

Stayed Dec 30, 2023Five out of five stars. We booked a last minute weekend away for New Years Eve and it was perfect. Jessica and Derek are wonderful hosts, ensuring we found the property easily and had everything we could need for a great weekend. Kitchen was completely stocked to make all our meals, the hot tub and sauna were pristine, and they even made a path around the lake so we could snowshoe safely. Their property is clearly a labor of love and we can’t wait to come back!
