Jemez Springs Cabin w/ Stunning Mtn Views!

This is the best place we have stayed at. The only thing you need to bring is food an a relaxed attitude. You are totally disconnected from the net. An excellent idea. Close to the National Preserve and close to town. Follow the directions you are sent instead of google maps. The hosts were fantastic! We wished we could have stayed longer. It is so peaceful. We will be back.

Property is as described. Excellent and easy communication with hosts. Lots of birds to enjoy while sitting on the deck. Close to some great walking and archeological sites.

This cabin was perfect for a couple of days to relax and rest. It was very cozy and comfortable. The views were amazing! I spent hours on the porch swing looking at the mountains and watching the wildlife. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and made sure we had what we needed. Excellent property all around!

My entire experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the impeccable communication to the stunning cabin where we spent the weekend, everything exceeded my expectations. The cabin is beautiful and clean, and every amenity we could have needed was provided. To describe it simply: Imagine the cabin you dreamed of as a child, and then walk into that same cabin as an adult. It felt like a dream come true. Celebrating my mom’s 75th birthday there with my daughter, made it the most memorable birthday my mom has ever had. A heartfelt thank you to our hosts for their thoughtful attention to every detail. Your care and effort truly shine through in this magical place. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. 4X4 is recommended - but who does not love to 4X4! Very private and clean. This is the ultimate cozy cabin to getaway in! Definitely need an all-wheel drive vehicle though, but that is the point of privacy too. Will stay again!

Our family of four had a lovely stay at the Happy Shack. This was our first time visiting the Jemez Mountains, and we were awed by the beauty. The cabin is located on a mountainside and has a beautiful view. The craftsmanship of the cabin is superb and it was charmingly decorated. We saw lots of wildlife during our stay, including deer, rabbits, chipmunks, wild turkey, and lots of birds. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning, sipping coffee, and watching the hummingbirds at the feeder. The kitchen has everything you really need. We used the grill and had a nice dinner out at the picnic table. The owners were very responsive, but also unobtrusive. It's a really welcoming and cozy place!

What a great property! The cabin was beautiful and extremely well stocked. The location is wonderful with many potential activities nearby. We spent our time hiking and really enjoyed the trails. Our hosts communicated often and were friendly and responsive to questions. Very highly recommended!

Accommodations were clean and well maintained. Hosts lived nearby and were awesome; provided great communication regarding the check-in and check-out procedures.......definitely will return in fall 2025 !

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Relaxing! Really enjoyed the different birds, sunrise and the stars! Very clean and comfortable! Only issue was our vacation wasn’t long enough!
