Beautiful view of Denali in a quiet secluded spot. Cabin was neat & clean. Shrubbery surrounding our parking spot could use a good trimming for easier access. Owner was very helpful ~~ Great hospitality,...thanks!

My family loved this cute cozy cabin with the incredible view in the back. Had everything we needed for an overnight stay.

The view was beautiful even though it was overcast. We did not see Denali, but the leaves were turning in the valley below. We would definitely stay there again. The only downside to this property is the bathroom is downstairs and the two bedrooms are upstairs.

Lovely property with a gorgeous view. Host was very helpful with our rescheduling our flightsee due to weather issues. Short drive to Talkeetna ( 10 min ). Cabin was for our small group.

Quaint and peaceful.

This lovely two bedroom cabin sits on a mountain in Talkeetna, AK. We met the owner of the property when we arrived and she was very helpful in pointing out not only the amenities in the cabin but also suggesting places to eat and things to do and see in the local area. The kitchen does not have a stove but does have a two-burner hot plate, a microwave and a fridge. The living area was large and comfortable with two futons, which if used with the beds upstairs, would allow six people to stay comfortably. There was also a dining area off the living room. There were decks both off the living room and the upstairs larger bedroom both of which provided spectacular views of the mountain range at the Denali National Park, including a breathtaking view of Mt. McKinley, as well as the glacier in front of the range. We loved our stay at this place and would highly recommend it!!

We only stayed here one night on our way from Anchorage to Denali. The guesthouse was comfortable and quaint. It was very quiet and private. It sets on a mountaintop near Talkeetna. The best thing for my wife and I were the spectacular views from the deck and from the rooms facing toward Denali. We would stay there again.

Simply just Perfect

The road to get to the house is dirt, steep and has switchbacks but we didn’t have an issue going up. Follow the directions from the host and you will not have an issue. The views are simply amazing! Words and/or pictures cannot do it justice! The hosts are very responsive. The rooms are a nice size and the beds are comfortable. Did I mention the views! I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to anyone. It was incredible to see how quickly the clouds come and go and how the view of Denali changes. We were Lucy enough to have the clouds clear so we could view Denali!

Stay was amazing, this place has all the essentials. Comfy bed, hot shower, magnificent views! We even got a couple good clear views of Denali!

This was a really cool, unique place. Part of the drive was on a dirt road and I thought we might be on the wrong directions, but when we got there it was so cute and the view is amazing. We loved this place. The round room was my favorite. Both rooms were upstairs. The sound travels in this place. When I was down stairs I heard my husband climb in bed. I heard my dad having a phone conversation (he was on speaker phone). Overall a great place.

Million Dollar Views!!! Great unobstructed views of Denali from the deck. We also saw the Northern Lights. This location is unbelievable- Private up on hillside, yet super close to Talkeetna and activities. Whitney was super cool and gave us great info about Denali, hiking the State Park, etc. The house/cabin has everything you need for a great vacation.

What a great location!!! On a hill overlooking a beautiful valley! If it wasn't for the foggy conditions we would have had a great view of the mountains! The cabin was perfect for an overnight stay between Sterling and Healy. Whitney had the cabin perfectly decorated and stocked with all the necessities.

Beautiful view.. rustic cabin feel. Just had the basics in the kitchen and bathroom, but that was all we needed. Upstairs bedrooms are gorgeous,with views of Mount McKinley / Denali, and a small 2nd deck off the master bedroom.

I am sure we were lucky that the weather allowed us to see Denali in all of its glory, but it is also true that this cabin has a splendid view of the mountain from across the valley. The fortunate weather just have is the opportunity. This cabin is secluded but nice and meet all of our needs. If we are fortunate enough to ever visit the area again, we will do our best to rent this cabin. We all loved it.

I stayed in the sister property and 2 couples I was traveling with stayed in this perfect cabin. Whitney, our host greeted us when we arrived and provided great information about the area. She had a binder with property information as well as local eateries, etc. The view from the back deck was spectacular. Cocktails in the evening while enjoying Denali and the mountain range was as good as it gets!!!!!

We enjoyed the location and views! Beds were comfy. Seating area was average as futons not great for sitting and love to have a comfy chair. Overall, a really nice night in Talkeetna.

This was exactly what we’re looking for. Quiet & quaint with an incredible view! Had one very small maintenance request and it was handled immediately. Highly recommended!

Really felt like we were in Alaskan wilderness. Great location, beautiful view out the back, plenty of room for 3 adults. Host was responsive. Price was reasonable. May have been the time of year, but mosquitoes were particularly bad. Made it unable for us to use the outdoor space. Thankfully all the windows had screens, (though we still saw some wiggle through). May have been nice to have a larger fan in addition to the fans that were provided. We were short one set of bath towels, but by the time we discovered that, it was too late to notify the host. A couple of items could have been a little cleaner - the couch covers, and the vent fan in the bathroom. Had we known there was only well water, we would have brought bottled water.
