We loved staying in your beautiful cabin. It was so perfectly decorated and we hope to return during the spring or summer to see the gardens as well. Thank you!

A charming cabin on a quiet road in a fairly rural area. The kitchen was well equipped with all kinds of pots, pans, and kitchen tools. We had a lovely time, and may return in the future for an anniversary trip. Groceries and other services were about three miles away - not too close and not too far.

Absolutely beautiful cozy and idyllic and Cassandra was extremely responsive! Also very close to amazing hiking at Gambrills park. Ill be back!

Unique cabin, very well maintained and lot of attention has been given to details. Super cozy, comfy, clean, spacious, enormous kitchen and dining area. Rear views are impeccable. We loved it!!

The listing description and photos are accurate - especially when it comes to steps. There are many steps and they are a bit steep. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook. Very quiet and peaceful area and convenient to several historical sites. We really enjoyed our stay.

We have been here several times and it never disappoints we love this cabin.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The house was incredibly clean, so comfortable, and wow… let’s talk about the breathtaking view! This stay was for my beloved’s birthday, and he truly couldn’t have been happier. What a super cute house. Loved the aspect they kept the house in tact with so many small visible elements and kept character from inside to outside. What a beautiful property as well. You can see some mountains, a beautiful yard landscaped so nicely. And convenient to restaurants and more. It was a perfect place for the two of us and what we needed for a quick stay.

We did not want for anything! The cabin was very comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked with lots of wonderful treats, plus delicious fresh scones welcomed us.Stairs a must but helped us burn off a few of those 'vacation' calories! The countryside is beautiful and the cabin well situated for a number of nearby adventures. We loved the White Rabbit in Frederick for lunch and Fratelli's for dinner. This is definitely a 10 out of 10!

This cabin was super relaxing, and everything we needed. Highly reccomend to anyone trying to escape to a comfy calm place.

The home is very charming and special. It was decorated so nicely for Christmas and gave us a being home feel. The host was attentive and friendly. Would reccomend this unique experience for sure.

2nd time this year staying just as good as the first time except we got snow this time

This cozy cabin was just wonderful! It was so homey, and comfortable. I looked forward to sitting on the back porch each morning with my coffee, the birds, and the beautiful view. Each evening we lit the fire and relaxed in the living room. We had a little trouble with the fireplace, but thanks to the fast response of the property manager we figured it out. The bed was incredibly comfortable. I was worried it would be too small, but it was just right. The tub in the bedroom was different, but charming. I did use a few magnets to keep the shower curtain attached to the tub while showering, and that made it much easier! We will definitely be back, and next time we will bring our dog!

LOVED staying in this adorable cabin. Walking through the gardens each morning was a delight. Sunrise and moonrise views of Cotoctin Mountain were beautiful. Super comfy bed. Everything one needs in the kitchen. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The cabin is amazing. The bathroom is a little unorthodox but I wasn't disappointed in anything at all. The views are fantastic, the area is quiet, the porch is my new favorite thing. I will absolutely be back.

The cabin was very charming and cozy. I liked all of the decorative touches that made it homey. We loved the wrap-around porch, especially the back one where we spent a lot of time looking out over the grounds and mountains in the distance. The gardens around the house were lovely as well. There were scones, juices, teas, water, and coffees left for us in the kitchen.

The most relaxing vacation. The backyard and gardens are breathtaking, and you’ll never want to leave the cabin; the mountain view’s from the porch are to die for and the stargazing at night is unbelievable. The owners were so sweet and easy to contact. It was such a wonderful stay, we are definitely coming back again.

This cozy cabin was quiet and picturesque. Every morning and evening we enjoyed coffee and tea on the wrap around porch. Close to historic sites and shopping made our stay interesting and memorable. I highly recommend this cabin and would consider returning in the future.

We had a lovely stay at the cabin - full of special details and antique charm! The property was beautiful, and the info sheet helped us find it when we arrived after dark. The hosts were quick in responding to our questions. It was a scorching summer weekend, so we were relieved that the air conditioning worked well!

The cabin was cozy, clean, well stocked with essientials, and additional gifts (i.e. coffee pods, personal pizzas, and breakfast scones). It was perfect! 10/10 for the accommodations! We will be stayinf again!

Good location

I went for a week for some solitude. The place was lovely, a refurbished log cabin. The grounds were lovely - lots of space to walk with a world-renowned gardener as the owner. She has a garden shop with acres and acres of gardens that I could walk around in - just beautiful. The backdrop of the Catoctin Mountain range is in full view from the back porch. I hiked the mountain in Gambrills State Park a couple of times. The pony and chickens and barn next door add to the ambience. The kitchen is well-furnished and the owners generously offer home-made scones, coffee, tea, creamer,, bottles of water and juice and much more. The bedroom loft on the top floor is spacious and has a deep tub w/shower. The internet worked very well. One caveat, you need to be okay with stairs. The bedroom is up a flight of stairs and the kitchen is down a flight of stairs. I was going up and down stairs quite a lot, which I actually enjoyed. Also, the furnishings (bed, sofa, chairs) are not modern, but they were comfortable. Mostly I sat on the back porch and communed with the mountain, the pony, the lush trees, the birds and the fireflies.

We LOVED our stay at Surrey Cabin! Quaint, clean, quiet, and the property is breathtaking! The bed was super comfortable and we had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back!

Surreybrooke cabin was so lovely. A shabby chic oasis. The gardens were beautiful, and the wrap around porch was my favorite spot. There are 3 levels, so be ready to climb stairs. It was centrally located for everything we wanted to see in the area. The scones were yummy, and the cabin provided everything you may need. I hope to be able to come again in the future.

The cabin, the property, the gardens were magical. It was quiet and very peaceful.Surreybrook gardens are a site to behold and their shop has so many wonderful things at reasonable prices.Home made scones were in the freezer when we got there and supplied specialty teas were enjoyed with them. We are so grateful we found this cabin.

Traveled from Baltimore to get away for a few days. Great location and mountain views. Cozy vintage cabin nicely renovated.

When we arrived we had to double check to make sure we were in the correct location…way more than expected… lots of space and privacy, real cabin from the 1800s, fully furnished and owners provided snacks and drinks, we had never been to Maryland before…Truly unique experience we will go back hopefully for a little longer

Cozy cabin, wonderful hosts, great location near the AT. Probably the most thoughtful host we’ve had, they’ve thought of everything from breakfast treats and extra linens, even dog treats.

Great space to stay in! Very very cozy cabin with great views, and close to the local cities if you want to get out and about. Hosts were very supportive, communicative, and hospitality was through the roof. Would love to stay here again!!!

What a nice find! The cabin was comfortable and the porch was great. We enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the fall weather. Everything we needed was there. I wish we weee able to stay longer.
