Close to Monarch and Salida with Mountain Views from the Hot Tub

Great property for the family, not so much for older guests, as there’s no bathroom on the top level, where the kitchen/dining/living room space is. We’ll definitely rent again for the younger family members, as we did this year.

We really enjoyed this house. It was in a lovely location that wasn't as populated but was still close enough to shopping and things to do. We loved the hot tub. Our only complaint was that the knives could use some sharpening as they were dull and hard to use.

This property is conveniently located to Monarch Pass, Salida, Buena Vista and Gunnison. For summer, it was easily accessible to hiking, river activities and so much more. Most mornings and evenings, there were elk grazing just beyond the fenced yard. Nice home base for a family or couples. We utilized the kitchen for several meals and it is well equipped for the majority of your cooking needs. The master bed was very comfortable with nice linens. The hosts provide a great deal of information to make the stay more enjoyable. We agree with other posts regarding the main living area being very warm during our stay. With no AC, or ceiling fans, we found it extremely warm on the second floor. During our stay, the day time temps did get into the upper 80s, and we did not have mountain breezes to cool down the living room/kitchen until well after the sun went down. It was very comfortable in the bedrooms at night, as long as the windows were open. Otherwise, the home did get stuffy during the day. A ceiling fan would go a long way in moving the air and making the upstairs living area a little more comfortable. Despite the warm family area, we had a very enjoyable stay and would consider returning with our extended family due to its proximity to so many activities and places.

Had a great stay, everything you need and great location for hitting the mountains/rafting/hiking etc. and only 10min to store in poncho springs. Hot Tub was great after long day in the mountains. There are bunk beds in one of the rooms which the kiddos loved, didn’t see that on the listing so was a nice surprise. Will definitely look here first when we head back!

Great little getaway spot for some r and r. Close enouto Salida and Poncha springs to have plenty to do but far enough away to get some peace and quiet. Hot tub was fantastic, house was clean and well stocked.

Amazing location and stay. Had some trouble getting access when we got there but got a response within minutes. Great property and would come back again!

Property was easy to find pictures don’t quite match the home place was overall clean WiFi was terrible kept dropping Showers were great plenty of hot water

The location was central to Monarch and Salida, which is where we wanted to be. The living area was great for our group of 4. Nice deck with great view of the mountains. Kitchen was well stocked. We stayed in the master bedroom and it had plenty of room and the bed was comfortable. The only negative was a strong smell of urine in the master br. Not sure if it was from the septic or a past animal. The management co was notified and they were going to address it.
