As with all three of our cabins, Pronghorn sits on more than 20 acres of pristine forest and meadow. The expansive windows and roomy deck provide an unrivaled view north into Glacier National Park. On clear nights, your deck is also the perfect place to gaze at stars, which, due in part to our sparsely populated valley, are wonderfully bright.

Pronghorn features two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. There is also a full bathroom, with a combo shower and tub--complete with beautiful tilework. In addition, Pronghorn offers a fully-equipped kitchen, and a combined dining and living room area with an energy-efficient Jotul wood stove. Logs, which are cut from our own property, are provided. On your deck, there is a large bistro style table and chairs. Log accents abound throughout the cabin.

Our namesake, Hay Creek, runs the course of our southern border. It is home to the endangered bull trout.

Finally, our location is very special. Polebridge, Montana is a small community that offers solitude, beauty, and a bit of local flavor and entertainment at our local venues. Our location and proximity are quite unique.

Nestled just three miles from the North Entrance of Glacier National Park, the Hay Creek Cabins offer a peaceful base for exploring one of the park’s most scenic and less crowded regions. From this entrance, you can easily access the breathtaking landscapes and quiet shorelines of Bowman Lake and Kintla Lake.

Our property is also conveniently located just 12 miles from the Camas Creek Entrance to Glacier National Park. This entrance provides access to the iconic Going-to-the-Sun Road and is typically much less crowded than the West Glacier entrance—helping you avoid the long entry lines often experienced there.

Both GNP access points provide a quieter, more laid-back park experience—perfect for guests looking to enjoy nature at a slower pace. Beginning in 2026, no timed-entry tickets are required at any of the park’s entrance stations, making it even easier to explore during your stay.

Beautiful views and cabin had everything we needed. Several deer came to visit on a daily basis and the Colombian squirrels were entertaining. Close proximity to Polebridge Mercantile made it easy access if supplies needed

The cabin was great. Beautiful mountain views when clear. Polebridge is just a five minute drive. Highly recommend.

Very remote and we were the only ones staying at the cabins, 3 in all. A great view of mountains but the dirt road travel takes time and there are many potholes. There is no Wi-Fi or any phone service so you will be off the grid. The refrigerator is incredibly loud, I went to the owners property down the road and she said she had never heard of any complaints about the refrigerator and told me there was nothing she could do. I asked her to come over but she had a disappointing dismissive attitude which was not good considering the high nightly rate in a very remote area. The place is clean and the bedrooms are lovely but the furniture is not very elegant in the surroundings.

Wonder spot, we come back every year and will continue to do so. It’s a special town, and peaceful setting for a cabin. Truly excellent.

Absolutely loved it here! Furnishings were great. This was well taken care of, very clean and new. The views really can’t be beat. We didn’t want to leave! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who just wants to lay back and relax to get away from it all.

Overall the property is great. Bottom step of the driveway entrance to Greywolf is close to breaking, a step replacement seems in orderTowels could be upgraded

Beautiful cabin and views of the mountains in Glacier. Even watched a large black bear lumber across the field out in front of our cabin. The location is great. Would definitely stay here again if we get back to the Northfork.

We loved staying here. It was so quiet and cozy. The views are breathtaking and the wildlife that came and visited everyday was awesome. Would definitely recommend this place and will hopefully be back soon.

Great location off the grid. The kitchen needs more serving bowls for salad etc. There were cobwebs in s few corners and the tub was not very clean.
