Breathtaking Mountain View in Wild and Wonderful WV! Hot tub! Breathtaking views

Liked the style of the cabin , but during the rain on Friday night the roof has a leak behind the couch, dealt with that everything else is great.

Everything was perfect!

View was amazing. Great relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the view. Only downfall was the cleanliness. My wife spent an hour cleaning the bathrooms and we cleaned the windows. Hair and nastiness in the tub and the windows looked like a food and who knows what on them.

It was the easiest check in and the host is very responsive! I would highly recommend and will be coming back!

A great cabin nestled in the hills with a great view. Perfect getaway

A perfect spot to relax and explore a more remote area of WV.

We were extremely disappointed with our stay and ultimately had to check out early due to serious cleanliness, safety, and sanitation concerns.First and most concerning, there were clear signs of rodents or bats inside the cabin. We found numerous droppings in the living room, heard loud chirping and scratching noises in multiple areas of the house, and noticed steel wool stuffed into crevices, which suggests this is an ongoing issue rather than an isolated incident. We documented everything on video. The situation made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe enough that we decided to leave early.Unfortunately, cleanliness throughout the cabin was also far below expectations. There was a clump of hair in the bathtub, crumbs in the couches and even in the bed, grime buildup on windowsills and outlet covers, cobwebs, etc., and overall the space felt poorly maintained and not cleaned between guests.Exterior safety was major problem. The stairs were extremely icy, which caused my girlfriend to slip and fall. The suggested solution was to use a “path” to the patio door, but both the patio and the path were covered in snow and inaccessible. We were told another cabin had used the last bag of salt, which felt unacceptable given that this stay was booked weeks in advance and basic winter preparation should have been handled.Despite the documented issues and early checkout, the host refused to provide any refund.Overall, this experience was awful and I can’t recommend booking here

Beautiful place to stay. Very relaxing and cozy. Loved all the old rustic items they have there. Hot tub was amazing and what a view you have. Owners were quick to respond with any questions or issues.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin felt like home. It had everything we needed and more.The beds were comfortable, if you like to cook like I do they have every usual you could ask for.The hot tub was an AMAZING. We was able to watch the moon rise while relaxing in the hot tub.

Was in a great location. Hot tub was in great. Cabin was spacious had to cut short due to family situation. Mattress could you some updating. Hurt my hips and shoulders. Other than that was very nice.

Just wow! We truly enjoyed the Cabin, the amazing view (especially at sunrise), and the area. The cabin was clean, well appointed with games, movies, kitchen supplies and anything we could need. Loved the fire pit and hot tub. Lots of wildlife viewing, even had a bear make a brief appearance in the yard. The area didn't disappoint either, from a pontoon at Burnsville to the local state parks, we have a wonderful visit.

Overall nice place. Couple things were definitely not up to par. Main complaints would be the tub leaking on the floor, overall cleanliness of the place was not great, and of all things...the roof leaked when it rained. Pretty disappointed about that. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking including spices etc...didnt have dish towels though. Ease of check in and checkout was really easy. Couple of these we could have overlooked probably but there was just too many things...it seems like not a lot of effort is put forth as far as general maintenance goes.

Our family had a small reunion and this cabin was absolutely perfect for our stay. It met our every need and our stay was wonderful!The view is absolutely breathtaking and we even had our own personal fireworks show on the Fourth of July!

We had a great stay. The view is amazing and it is peaceful and quiet. Will be returning.

Relaxing place

Great stay, very relaxing!

I have been vacationing at Stonewall Jackson Lake for 25 years. This has to be one of the most breathtaking views! The owners are awesome! They took great care in answering questions. It truly felt like home away from home!

Almost heaven

This place is exactly what we needed for a girls weekend away. Nice cozy cabin. Excellent fire ring for a campfire. Hot tub set up is very nice. The property is beautiful, and there is a lot of wildlife around. The ponds on the property are really nice, containing lots of fish, frogs, tadpoles, salamanders, and other critters. Overallan excellent place!!.

We really enjoyed our stay! The view was lovely and the cabin had everything we needed. The hot tub was relaxing and the property is secluded and private.

Gorgeous view of WV mountains! Great hot tub, game and dvd selection! Everything you need in and more in the kitchen! Don’t be alarmed by the natural gas smell. We were unfamiliar with how natural gas smelled when we first arrived, but Dustin was prompt to explain. Wonderful stay if you want to disconnect from the busy-ness of life!

Beautiful Mountain View’s, woke up the last day to snow! We enjoyed this cabin getaway with our kids, just what we needed.

The property is exactly as listed, beautiful views, plenty of wildlife and seclusion!

The hosts, Kay and Dustin have gone above and beyond providing a restful relaxing experience in their comfy secluded cabin. Bed was wonderful. Frig had a door full of condiment including great fresh eggs. Spices, coffee. The kitchen was just wonderful. Even though our first 3 days and nights it rained, which sounded delightful on the metal roof, we had a fabulous fire with the wood they provided (at a small cost) along with hot dog sticks, fire starter and fire starter cubes to get that wood going. We saw deer the last 2 mornings and turkeys roaming just beyond the deck. The hot tub was lit beautiful for both daytime and nighttime soaks!!!! They even had robes. It was sad to leave but feeling refreshed. Thank you Kay and Dustin.

Wonderful stay at this well appointed cabin. The kitchen is well equipped. Beds are comfortable. Enjoyed the fire pit. Watched deer and wild turkey from the front deck. Owners responsive and helpful. Will book again Thanks for a wonderful time!
