Alvah's Park Ranger Cabin

Stayed at the Ranger Cabin mid September and it was perfect for our Acadia National Park trip! It was about a 25 minute drive into bar harbor. The cabin was clean and Kevin was a great host and provided great information about check in and check out! Would 100% consider staying here again if I find myself in the area.

We had a great stay here while visiting Acadia. The space was very clean and the kitchen and bath had everything we needed.

My wife, 5 year old son and I traveled from Pittsburgh, and after a long road trip needed a place to call hike for a few days while we explored Maine. This place was the perfect mix of quiet, but also close enough to Bar Harbor to feel like you've got things to do.

We loves this place it was in a fantastic location. The only negative it when I can charges 90 for some bedding that they said “stains didn’t come out”. I asked for pictures because we didn’t use spray tan or have anything near our bedding that would stain the sheets. I got no pictures and still know we didn’t do anything to the bedding.

Nice cabin with everything we need! Would recommend to any friends who would visit Bar Harbor areas!

Kevin was great checked in on us several times! The cabin matched pictures to a T. It was super clean! Everything you needed was there! Located close to Acadia National Park!!! Close to get restaurants! Would recommend to anyone going to the Parks!!!

Great location Great for couples. If you have Verizon make sure to screen shot directions, code for door, and WiFi password. Our Verizon service was terrible in many locations.

Kevin is a terrific host and the cabin is in the perfect location to explore MDI and Bar Harbor.

This cute little cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Lamoine! Friendly hosts and very clean!

Our family had a great time at the cabin. It was very clean, stocked with the basics, and Kevin and Julie were great communicators! I definitely recommend this cabin and would stay there again!

Cozy little cabin, clean (as in spotless!), super comfortable bed. Great hosts too.

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. Kevin was attentive and responsive but in no way intrusive to our stay. Would stay here again. Cabin is about 20-30 mins away from Acadia/Bar Harbor but an easy drive and the cabin is located away from hustle and bustle. Ellsworth is close by for grocery or other needs.

My friends and I traveled to hike Acadia National Park. Kevin and Julie were amazing hosts that provided several local dining, hiking, and sightseeing recommendations. The house was very clean and cozy! They were very responsive and made us feel comfortable during our stay. So happy we chose to stay here!

Alvah's Park Ranger Cabin was perfect for our family of three. It was a short drive to Acadia, Bar Harbor, and everything we wanted to do in the area. The property was extremely clean and communication with the owners was easy and timely. Thank you for a wonderful first experience in Maine!
