Holomakai B and B is a vacation rental with three bedrooms for rent individually on Maui’s north shore. Each room is on a separate floor with a private bathroom, ac, tv and Wi-Fi. The rest of the house, the entrance, fully equipped kitchen, living room and spacious ocean view lanai are all shared spaces with the other guests. Located near the start to the road to Hana we are ideally situated for exploring this side of Maui. We are on agricultural land and grow bananas and citrus. We provide a self serve breakfast that is available anytime. The owners live on the property in a separate home and are available at all times for questions and assistance. We are available for one night stays
One other thing to note is that while we spray quarterly for pests we can get insects in the house. We also have gecko’s inside too.

House was absolutely phenomenal! We got to meet one of the hosts, so glad I got to meet her, learn about the island in the property a little bit. I highly recommend anyone looking to feel at home, experience, something beautiful, and if you’re looking for a place close to the start of the Road to Hana this is your most ideal spot! From fresh bananas and eggs to the flowers that are placed out on the counter. Feeling the fresh breeze as you stepped into this beautiful home, you’ll be transported into Maui. Make sure to take your shoes off, respect the land and those around you, and breathe. Take in the sounds and wonder as you eat breakfast or possibly meet new friends in a shared living space. We had others in the house with us at the time, only briefly heard them from time to time when we were in the common area other than that, it was purely quiet. Oh to come back someday! The rooms were spacious and beautifully set up too!

It was welcoming, easy to access, comfortable and so very quiet. The set up with the units allows a unique balance between friendly interaction between travelers and easy access to privacy. Very well done! The food selection in the kitchen was ample..coffee and tea options too. Great food at the Jaws market just 3 minutes away (drive).. The Magic Oven, attached to the backside, offers great breakfast options, hamburgers, etc, and oven fired pizza. We were completely happy with the accomodations.. shower was awesome too!

This was a very nice property, met all expectations. Very clean throughout, even the group kitchen and refrigerator. Host lives on property so is very easy to get in touch with and I think has a big influence on why this property is so nice. Quiet, comfortable, excellent location if you want to access the National Park, Kahului, or Hana. We would stay there again.

It might be a little hard to find in the dark but it is quiet. Oh, so quiet. So very quiet. The breeze was sufficient but there is a window A/C to remove the humidity if you're so inclined. Copious hot water. Private patio. Common living spaces for lounging, cooking, and dining. It felt very safe. It was certainly very clean. There were plenty of utensils and breakfast basics plus ice and filtered water. Restaurants are near ish and Paia is a great little town. There is a State Park beach about 8-10 minutes away. Did I mention how peaceful this place was?

Beautiful and well maintained grounds. My first floor room was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable, and the relaxing rocking chairs on the lanai were a bonus. Loved being able to have use of a full kitchen for breakfast and meeting the other guests. The view from the second floor, which includes the kitchen, dining and living room areas, as well as another lanai, was outstanding.

Absolutely loved this property. Would give 5,000 stars if it let me. So clean. So beautiful. So serene. We liked being a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists, this truly was a slice of heaven. Great location for the Road to Hana, Kaanapali Beach, Haleakala. Close to Makawao where we went to a Paniolo Rodeo! Check in and Check out were an absolute breeze. I will bookmark and save this Property so I can come back for my 50th!

Property was clean, nicely set up, beautiful setting and views. Our room,1, was spacious with comfortable bed, loveseat and bistro table. The common space, kitchen, living, dining was large and and comfortable. Light breakfast items were good-yogurt, bagels, waffles, eggs, tea, coffee and fruit. It was in an excellent location to get an early start in the Road to Hana, without having to get up too early. I would highly recommend staying here! tea

My wife and I chose to spend all 5 days of our Maui vacation on the North Shore B&B. This was our first trip to Maui, and we wanted a home base for exploration that was away from the more touristy parts of the island. Given the traffic gridlock elsewhere on the island, this proved to be a good decision. Very low-key and chill, this was the ideal spot for heading west to Road to Hana, east to Lahaina, or South to Wailua.

Booking and communicating about extending our stay was simple. Our room on the first floor was spacious with a comfortable bed, table for 2, huge closet, clean bathroom, and private back patio. We shared the main common area with 2 other rooms. The kitchen was equipped with everything, the breakfast items were always well stocked, and all guests made sure to pick up after themselves. Having a large spacious room plus the common living rooms gave suite vibes. I would stay here again because I liked having tons of space vs. a traditional hotel on the west side.

WOW! The pictures do not do this place justice! The home is so lovely and comfortable. It truly feels like a home away from home. We unfortunately arrived late in the evening and checked out early for our flight so we did not get much time here. We wish we could have stayed longer!! Just a note to anyone who has an early morning flight -- our Lyft driver said we were very lucky he was able to pick us up at 5:30am, typically no one is hanging around the area at that hour. So you may want to plan ahead if you do not have your own rental car.

This room was conveniently located beyond Paia and the beautiful cliffs at Ho'okipa Beach Park. While we were there, the waves were historically big! There are 3 rentable rooms in this location, with a shared kitchen. I didn't understand that when I booked. The refrigerator space is shared with any other vacationers. Just make sure you label your items well. There were several community (host provided) bananas before I went to bed. When I got up for breakfast, around 6am, they were all gone. We left early and didn't ask the host for more bananas or eggs. I think we used all but 1 egg.I'd stay here again and bring my own food.

The property is quiet, located off the road down a long drive way. The kitchen had everything you need if you like to cook. We ate every meal on the back patio that overlooks the ocean off in the distance. The included breakfast was a great bonus! Location was excellent to be near the beginning of the road to Hana as well as Haleakala National Park.
