Unwind in our charming 600 sq ft studio on a tranquil 12-acre organic hobby fruit farm. Enjoy stunning views, privacy, and easy access to nearby beaches, dining, and the airport. Ideal for couples, solo travelers, business professionals, and families seeking a cozy and peaceful getaway.

Our clean, well-maintained studio features brick and stucco walls, tile floors, and high-beam ceilings. Open the sliding doors to step into our expansive grounds, where nature thrives. On the ocean side, a 50-acre forest provides seclusion, while a seasonal stream flows through a gulch from Haleakala to the ocean near Jaws, one of the world’s premier surfing spots. Neighboring properties are equally tranquil, and quiet East Kuiaha Road ensures peace.

Note: We embrace wildlife and insects as vital to our ecosystem. While we strive to keep them out of the studio, you may encounter geckos or other critters. We minimize their presence in the studio but cannot eliminate them entirely. For a manicured, pest-controlled environment, consider a South Shore resort.

The Neighborhood

Despite its secluded setting, Mana Aina is just a 6-minute drive from excellent restaurants and grocery stores. For organic and healthy options, visit Mana Foods in Paia (10 minutes away) or the Pauwela Cannery for casual breakfast or lunch. The Haiku Cannery offers diverse dining, including Nuka Sushi, Colleen’s Restaurant (burgers, pizza, and more), Vegout for vegetarian fare, and Maui Kombucha Bar. Don’t miss Ahonui Plant-Based Cafe’s food truck at 111 Stable Road, Paia.

Adventure awaits nearby

Wave Season: Witness massive waves at Jaws.
Outdoor Activities: Hike the Makawao Forest, zip-line at Piiholo Ranch, or explore Iao Valley’s streams and pools.
Beaches: Relax at Hookipa Beach Park, Paia Bay, Baldwin Beach Park, Baby Beach, or Kanaha Beach Park.
Culture & Shopping: Stroll Makawao Town for sandwiches at Casanova’s or shop in Paia near Mana Foods.
Hidden Gems: Discover Haleakala volcano, Twin Falls, Poli Poli, Kula, or the Commando Hike.
We’re happy to share more recommendations during your stay!

Very secluded and quiet. I did not get the instructions for finding the place right away. Then it took me awhile to figure out what to do. But then it all fell into place and it was a wonderful stay. Many thanks!

We had an amazing stay - easy to find and access, convenient for dinners and watching Jaws, and especially our ride out to Hana. Highly, highly recommend!

Everything from picture, write up, and communication was exactly as described. The quality and care of the studio we stayed in was very comfortable and to our standard. I most definitely would stay here again. We had a special event in our family that brought us here, and the host was kind and personal toward that event. I will recommend this stay to friends and family.

Extremely quiet, clean, beautiful setting, charming large studio. We found it very relaxing, but in the winter, swimming requires at least a 45 minute drive to the south shore. It was wonderful to be away from all the condos.

This is a lovely quiet location in the midst of a forest with flowering trees and a small lawn. It was so relaxing to eat breakfast on the patio listening to the birds. There is an air conditioner but we didn't really need to use it. This location was ideal to start the Road to Hana and also to visit the volcano. About a fifty-minute drive to the first park visitor center. We also visited nearby the Sacred Garden of Maliko and a glass blowing studio. Alejandro was very responsive to all questions and provided extensive instructions on how to locate and self-checkin. The only thing I wish the unit had was a dishwasher. There are not any grocery or restaurants within walking distance so this is not the best location if you are traveling without your own vehicle. If you have a car, several towns are within about a ten minute drive. We went to several grocery stores and Haiku Market had the best variety and produce selection. We also had dinner at several restaurants in Paia and visited a brewery in Makawao. Recommend making Paia dinner reservations in advance and leave plenty of time for parking.
