Barn Owls Retreat @ Dairy Barns

We can't recommend this place highly enough. Hannah is the most friendly and wonderful host, she can't do enough to help you and provide a really welcoming place to stay. The location is superb for the Norfolk coast and Broads, as well as perfect for seeing the seals at Horsey Gap. On top of that the room was spacious and comfortable, with a great breakfast to fill you up for the day.

We had a fantastic multi-generational stay at the Dairy Barns, everything was comfy and easy, we loved the split level room, which worked really well for 3 of us.

We chose the extra special room this time, being January we welcomed the extra space for the evenings.Amazing bath, view of the stars above from the bed when not raining! As usual the breakfast was excellent, served in our room initially and then in the main venue.Hannah made our stay as an excellent host.

This was our third stay at the hotel, and once again, it was excellent. The superior room was ideal for the three of us—spotlessly clean and comfortable. The cake on our first day was a lovely bonus. We always appreciate the welcome pack, which offers helpful recommendations for local activities and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and offered something for everyone. Hopefully we will be back in the winter to see the seal pups.

We loved Dairy Barns, the rooms, the breakfasts, just everything about it. We all know that farmers are having a pretty tough time and this is a great way to diversify. In The Broads, not far from Norwich or the north coast, it's ideally situated for visiting this beautifully unspoilt county. Thank you to everyone.

My second visit here, staying in an extra special room as before. Lovely, comfortable, light and airy room. Friendly staff and relaxed peaceful feeling here. Great breakfast..brought to my door, much enjoyed. Wonderful location with so much to visit nearby. Cannot fault Dairy Barns and will certainly be back again later in the year.

The Barn Owl’s retreat was a lovely room which was perfect for our wedding anniversary celebration. The location was excellent offering a good choice of places to eat and activities to enjoy within a short drive. The staff could not have been more accommodating and recommended places for us to visit and helped us get the most from our short break away.

Beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast and warm friendly staff, what more do you need?

The room was beautiful and bright, everything you need is on arrival. Small fridge so you can hold some of your own essentials. The bathroom was very big and my little girls loved the bath. You get all the little extras incase you want a take away in your room. Breakfast is held in a lovely barn with a nice set up where you can help yourself to cold drinks and cereal and your hot food and drink gets brought out to you. The food was perfect. Would definitely stay again! Thankyou for having us!

Very warm & friendly welcome & service. Lovely large room. Great to have our own quiet space. Very clean with lovely crisp bed linen & white fluffy towels. Sheltered parking was a bonus. Delicious breakfast. Lots of tips about where to visit & eat out. Extremely quiet & peaceful at night.
