Stayed Jun 23, 2025The apartment was clean, well stocked, and just like the pictures. The views of the lake are amazing. We enjoyed many beautiful sunsets from the balcony. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. You can't beat the location. Steps from the lake for a daily swim, all the great restaurants in Varenna, the ferry, and of course, gelato! Don't underestimate the value of AC if you're visiting in the summer. It was SO nice to come home to a cool place to relax. And don't miss the hike up the hill to the castle.

Stayed Nov 18, 2024This apt was fantastic! As advertised, clean, plenty of room for family of four. All the amenities you could need. And then, the view is perfect, you sit right on the lake! Varenna is a beautiful, quaint town with several restaurants and shops. But a quick walk to the ferry gets you to Bellagio in under 20 minutes. Communication from Giorgio and Alberto was great and Alberto was very helpful. He met us at the train station, helped load our luggage, and helped carry the luggage to the apartment. Completely above and beyond any other host. Side story - the owner of the local market was also very helpful. The day we left, she called 6 different cabs to get us back to the train station with all our luggage. None were available, so she had her mother transport us, so we didnt have to walk 15 minutes uphill in the very chilly weather! What hospitality there is in Varenna

Stayed Aug 17, 2024Beautiful view, and location is in the middle of everything Varenna has to offer. The air conditioning was a godsend, some stairs, ample room for 2 people. Check in was great, Lorena was very nice and helpful. No complaints.

Stayed Sep 15, 2023Amazing views. Lots of room and nice balcony for sunset cocktails. Location in the town is perfect. Be aware that you cannot drive to this property. Must be able to carry - not roll, carry - luggage up and down several flights of stairs inside and out. Not for ADA. Charming town. Would return in a heart beat.
