Casa Lido beautiful lake view

This lovely apartment was perfect for our stay in Varenna. It was right up the lane from the boat docks, had a gorgeous view of the lake, and was just a five minute walk along the beautiful lakeside promenade into the main part of town. Being set a little bit apart, I think made it, especially quiet and peaceful. Our hosts were so lovely and made every effort to make sure our arrival, stay, and even departure, we’re easy and smooth.

We had a fabulous stay at this apartment in Varenna. We were on a 2-week tour of Italy, and this apartment was the smallest on our journey. I was concerned it wouldn't be enough space, but I was wrong. The way the doors and the layout of the apartment work offered great privacy for my husband and me, as well as the kid sleeping on the couch. Perfect for a small family.

Perfect location in Varenna! The apartment was clean and comfortable. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the comings and goings of the ferry boats. The lake view was amazing! Giorgio and Lorena were very helpful and accommodating. We hope to return here someday!

Our apartment in Varenna was everything we were hoping for: well located, spacious, great views, comfortable bed, extremely clean - just perfect. We were met just up the street in front of an hotel and taken to our accommodations, with everything clearly explained to us. The washing machine and drying rack were very helpful, sending us on our way with all of our clothes cleaned. If we return to the Lake Como area, this will be our choice for lodging once again. Highly recommended!

Close to the ferry and train station, which when traveling takes out a lot of stress. host nice enough to pick us up. Their notebook was helpful and included restaurant recommendations. Loved that we had a view. Interior decor could use some work and improvement but I can’t ding them for that because I already knew from the pictures on this site that the decor was not particularly to my liking.

Our stay was exactly what we had hoped for! Our hosts were available and helpful. We would love to stay there again in future!

This apartment was the perfect place to enjoy the beauty of the Lake Como area. Both convenient and beautiful… Varenna is a gem… and so is Giorgio! He was so wonderful, you felt like you were staying with family! We can’t wait to go back!

This was a great place to stay in Lake Como. This is very close to the train station and to the ferry so you can move around Lake Como very easily while also being in a great location in Varenna itself. Varenna is a very quaint village with a very nice waterfront and little square. View from the balcony is very pretty. This is in a great location to walk to all of the restaurants and shops. Host was great to work with and to give suggestions.

Place is near the train station, ferry and the lake . Place is clean and has a great view of the lake from balcony. Alberto met us when we arrived , gave us great information about place and answered all questions. Highly recommended place in Varenna.

Th apartment is conveniently located, and on the main road you can find food and other necessities. Lots of storage, good toilet facilities, crystal pure drinking water from the TAP! Guest bed accommodated an overnight visit from my granddaughter and she said the trundle was comfortable. Ours was a four day stay during which we cooked dinner three times the kitchen was provisioned with excellent cookware options, and proper cutlery and dinnerware. For the money, the value of our stay was outstanding, I have to say something less than stellar. There was a flight of stairs to climb, and Varenna in general is very hilly with lots of steps to climb everywhere so if that’s a problem for you, you might want to pick a different town but believe me as a 70 year old climbing steps to see the sites that I saw was totally worth it.
