Wine Country guest house

The kitchen was a bit sparse for preparing meals, but we had our breakfasts there before heading out for the day. Enjoyed sitting and reading on the private flower-filled patio. Quiet neighborhood.

Beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The room was just perfect and the host added nice little touches and welcome gift. It was very thoughtful and unexpected. We loved it.

Pretty good location for exploring Sonoma county. Host provided a few snacks, coffee (kcup) and a bottle of red wine (didn't try the wine). As others have noted, if it is hot (85) it can get a little stuffy since there's one HVAC vent. The supplied fan and the mild evenings keep it comfortable. Quiet enough the screened windows can be left open too. Great value, great place!

Very comfortable and quiet place, not very far from Trionne-Annabel State Park

Clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower is a single stall but fine for vacation. Ceiling is low between unit and kitchenette/bathroom but that's posted and not a big deal. Lots of cute amenities set around for renters. We really enjoyed having a nice place to stay in between wineries.

The location was quit and it had a very comfortable bed.

My wife and I had a relaxing stay at this property for a few days. It was just right for our needs and everything about it was as advertised. Great, quiet, neighborhood, easy access, very clean and comfortable. We have children and grandchildren in Santa Rosa that we were visiting so we will most likely be renting this space again in the future.

I really wanted to give this place a 10! It was cute, cozy, and definitely in a nice neighborhood. The owner also left lots of treats and included coffee pods for the machine. Unfortunately, the property has low ceilings and the bed seems to be directly below the owner bedroom - which would be fine, except for some reason, the owner needed to get up at 4:30 am on a Saturday. So I was awakened to listen to shoes back and forth and talking from 4:30 to 6 AM on a Saturday. If this is the owner’s work schedule, a mention in the listing of this would have been appreciated - and if a rare case, a heads up that there would be a great deal of noise super early on a Saturday would have been helpful. Note: there is not AC - it is owner controlled and seemed to be used sparingly. It was 92 in Santa Rosa, but when I returned at 9:00 PM the room was super stuffy and hot with no AC running and seemingly none run all day. It is pretty reasonable to expect a cooled lodging on a 92 day for a listing that advertises AC. I also think the bathroom rugs could use a good wash. But otherwise, it was cute and the bed was comfortable, appliances were functional, shower had good pressure, and the patio was nice. Just think those other things were pretty important too.

Slept very well. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The sofa easily converted to a full size bed for our adult son. We brought quiche and muffins to warm up in the microwave and have with tea and coffee in the mornings. We also enjoyed walking the neighborhood and the nearby park trail.

Very cute little place, was perfect for our needs. Low ceilings were OK for my son and I, but would be rough for a tall person! It was very cool that some snacks were left out for us. Was grateful for the space heater at night! Thank you for a great stay :)

This cute little studio was a great spot for us! We were able to explore the coast and the redwoods and also wine country! Great neighborhood and great park trail easy walk to coffee shop. Host was very responsive too!

We arrived into Santa Rosa late and Syd welcomed us in. The apartment on the side of the home was quaint and perfect for our needs. There was a bottle of wine, waters, coffee and snacks! We had everything we needed for a cozy stay. After a long night out at a friends wedding, Syd graciously let us stay an extra hour after checkout before we headed to the airport. I accidentally knocked over a vase with my big backpack as we were packing up and Syd was so nice as to not allow me to replace the item after offering to send a replacement to the house. Would recommend 10/10 for a perfect cozy getaway!

Our stay was pleasant,cozy and romantic. The host was a nice person, but from the picture they used to describe the outside of the place, it was some what distorted. Such as the wood finish was faded and old.

The property was clean and the pictures were accurate with the exception of the entry patio, which was overgrown and had a green fountain. The plants got caught in the screen on front door when you tried to open it. This was essential, because, the property said it had air conditioning, but in fact it was one small vent which was controlled in the owners portion of the house. The studio was very warm when we arrived in the afternoon. It was so hot when we stayed there we had to have the windows and door open and a fan running all night as the host turned off the A/C at night. I messaged the host about the heat when we arrived and he told me that he controlled the A/C above us. A/C was on for awhile in the morning until the host went to work and then it was turned off until host returned from work in the evening. Host turned it off when he went to bed. There were no checkout instructions or any others for that matter, in the unit at all. We had to leave early in the morning and wondered what the host needed to have us do prior to checkout. I messaged him on VRBO app the day before we left, but he never answered me. So, we did what we thought was necessary and left. We never saw the host.

My host was gracious. The room was clean, lovely and well appointed. Nighttime lighting could be improved in stairway area. Plants and foliage needs a definite tune up - no view as in picture - too much greenery. Thank you for providing this beautiful place for my weekend away.

Very nice location. Safe neighborhood. Quiet. Very basic place, not a place for cooking, but has a decent size refrigerator, microwave and space to eat . It feels like a suite in a very good hotel. Good for a short stay. We just had sold our house, and needed couple of days to sort things out . It was perfect for us

Space is only adequate for a couple. King bed comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom space minimal. Furniture and supplies are average quality . Rugs in the bathroom a pain because they constantly get caught under the door. Low ceilings. My husband 6ft hit his head moving from the bedroom area to the kitchen bathroom area. Cleanliness could be stepped up
