Location was fabulous. Sound of the creek while sitting in the back porch was totally zen!

The property location can't be beat and the back porch alone is worth the stay. It's walking distance to everything. The Boathouse was very nice but the fridge and toilet plumbing could use an upgrade. The fridge doesn't keep anything cold so bring a cooler and get some ice. Also, the toilet barely flushed so we had to go off property to use the bathroom if you know what I mean. I tried messaging the number that was left for us to contact but did not receive a response. We would stay here again but I hope they make some simple necessary upgrades.

Very close to the Main Street where the shops restaurants, welcome center, and Appalachian Trail are located. Back deck is right on Spring Creek, where you can sit and listen to the water. We hiked a portion of the Appalachian Trail which goes right down Bridge Street. The interior of The Boat House was clean and well maintained. Only issue was the AC unit. Difficult to set to cool down the place. We contacted Wesley and he came out the next day to correct the situation. First night there was very hot! However, we loved the place and would go back.

It was cozy and cute the deck was best part .. I thought towels could be softer and in better shape . Hook needed for hand towel in bathroom . Newer coffee maker . Would be great . Get some wine glasses and bigger coffee mugs . TV cable had no channels really

The cabin is cute, well appointed, and it's bigger than it looks like in the photos. It was quite comfortable and it's in a great location. I would consider staying here again. The only thing that kept this review from being 5 stars is that we had a small issue and contacted the local contact person and didn't receive any reply until after we'd checked out. We were able to talk with the management company but they weren't able to resolve the issue.

It was such a cute place! Will definitely stay again. Everything it said it was. Bed was a little hard. Could use a pillow top cover. But still would highly recommend. It’s perfect. And will be back

My wife and I own property nearby and wanted to support Hot Springs after the devastating flood last year. The Boat House was a small, cozy rental that was perfect for my wife and me. It was very clean and we were very satisfied. Hot Springs is coming back to life but it needs visitors to support its businesses.

Small but very functional and comfortable.I would stay there again. Only negative was the TV set up. The remotes are a bit crazy to figure out.

There was nothing special about this rental. It was average in cleanliness (toothpaste on the underside of faucet noticed by my husband), dried spots of something dripped on floor in bathroom. There are bare bone essentials in this rental, ie 2-3 coffee cups, wine bottle opener but no wine glasses, The decor was darling but not very comfortable,,hands on the clock on the wall never moved. There was no stove, just a small microwave and a small refrigerator cooler without a freezer. They provided an ice machine but I never went to the trouble of pouring water into it to see if it would make ice. There was a long water bug or something like that crawling on the floor but we weren’t able to catch him. All in all, it was like staying in a hotel. It wouldn’t take much attention to bring this up to a nice place to stay but it’s not there yet. Recently suffering from the effects of Helene, I understand funds may be lacking. This was the point of our stay. and despite the average review we wish them the best. As an added note: be prepared to not only wash all your dishes but put them away, strip your bed and take out your trash. Sounds like you do your own housecleaning and all the housekeeper has to do is put new sheets on the bed for the next guest. That is what we experienced. The best part of our stay was the sunrise off the back deck and the close proximity of walking to everything down town!

Love the cabin. Tiny but perfect. The host is gracious and the cabin was squeaky clean. If you like rustic mountain towns, you’ll be happy here.

We enjoyed our stay at the Boat House! It was a beautiful space, very clean, with a wonderful view of a stream off the back porch. The townsfolk were also very welcoming.

We had a nice stay after we were able to adjust the temperature of the room. We had to contact the owner for help due to old A/C instructions in the room. We didn't find the WIFI password and tried to call and text the owner with no response. We needed to ask where to leave the garbage, but we never heard back from the owner. Traffic was being rerouted due to a mud slide on I-40 and we were told some people were having trouble with cell service due to the large amount of traffic, so we figured that was the communication issue. Our phones showed the messages were sent to the owner. Our last message told them the garbage was still in the can because we didn't know what to do with it and that the A/C unit had started dripping during the night and we placed a towel on the floor to catch the water. We did everything per the checkout instructions and left the place looking nice. We have recommended it to friends for a possible future trip to Hot Springs and we would stay there again. The photos we are adding were taken as we left the premises.

The cabin was cute, cozy, and centrally located. Plenty of areas to walk to and visit near the cabin, and lots of great hiking only a short drive down the road!

Loved the sounds of the creek off the back deck. I can’t think of any amenities that were missing, other than maybe a toaster (or perhaps I just missed it). The bed was comfy with the right amount of support for me. The only thing I craved while there was my recliner rocker. Maybe you guys can add one in the future!

We had a great stay. Our favorite part was sitting on the back deck overlooking the creek just watching and listening to the water. We also loved that we were in walking distance to everything in town so we hardly drove at all once we got the Boat House.

We really enjoyed the boathouse! Best part was the back deck! I only gave communication one star because I tried messaging the owner twice prior to our trip to ask a question, and I never got a response.

Location was great with access to restaurants and shopping. The creek was charming. However this place needs a thorough cleaning. Ants, dirt, dust and feces on the tp holder is a start. Missed a freezer and if only the porch fan had worked...
