Stayed Oct 3, 2025We had a wonderful stay in the birdhouse. The lococation was perfect, just 2 blocks from downtown and 1 block from the beach. We had 4 adults and 2 children and it was plenty of space for us. Host was very responsive and pleasant to talk to. We are definitely planning to come back.

Stayed Aug 30, 2025Entire apartment was clean and comfortable. Bathroom and kitchen were very clean. Plenty of towels and other necessities. Apartment is well-appointed and neatly decorated. Wi-Fi & TV all good. We are a retired couple. Had no issues navigating stairway to reach entrance. Situated on a very nice, very walkable street. 5-minute walk to Frankfort Beach. Quick walk to Main St. - very close to excellent restaurants, bakeries and ice cream shops! Excellent value for comfort, cleanliness, convenience and amenities. Excellent host!

Stayed Sep 11, 2024Our stay in ‘The Birdhouse’ was amazing! A safe, quiet, and well, perfect location, is steps from the stunning lake Michigan Beach and 2-blocks from quaint Downtown Frankfort! Along with its ideal location, the Birdhouse is spacious, exceptionally clean, and well-equipped in the kitchen and has many beach chairs - and umbrellas available for a beach day. Jerry is very responsive and accommodating. This place has everything you will need for a pleasant stay, and I highly recommend staying here.
