Enjoyed the property. Room & bathroom were clean and functional. A larger refrigerator and a multi outlet would have made this place more functional but would definitely recommend it as a great place to stay!

Room was warm, clean and pleasant. We only stayed one night and it was fine. The bathroom/laundry room is oddly not directly attached, so you have to open the door and step on the covered balcony to get to it from the main bedroom. Not too fun in the middle of a cold, wet night. Not clear why it would be covered and so close but not directly attached. Units are fairly close to the town and train station, but down muddy, potholed roads, so not practical to walk with a suitcase. The room came with access to a sauna and a fire pit, but we did not make use of them. Communications with the owners were comprehensive and clear. Good welcome packet provided.

Great location

What an amazing stay in Talkeetna. The yurt was heavenly, the sauna was private and refreshing, the location was perfectly close to downtown and yet not crowded with tourists. Could not have gotten luckier finding this gem. We are from Fairbanks and don't get down here much but that will change niw that we found this place to stay. We will be back next year!

We loved staying here! It was close enough to the center of town to walk to dinner and the river. The sauna was a great way to relax, and the yurt was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed.

Access to the unit was flawless. There was a sunlight at the peak of the Yurt that had a curtain on it to block light. This curtain was halfway off upon arrival and hosts had no way to cover it up - not ideal when there's nearly 24 hours of daylight. This would have been 5 stars otherwise.

Months ago the host sent a message that we were being upgraded to a different house, that upgrade was never updated in the VRBO system. This resulted in confusion and a double booking. All was taken care of by our host who did as best she could to make everyone happy.

My wife and I stayed here en route to Denali National Park. We had been camping for 6 days and thoroughly enjoyed a bed off the ground, a place to cook inside and a great shower.We lived in a yurt in Oregon many years ago and it was comforting to be back in a lovely round home. This place has everything you need for an overnight or many nights. Including a sauna!!You are off the main hustle and bustle and it is an easy drive or walk to the “downtown” area.Thank you for a lovely night Marne
