Everything about Rocco's was so great. We stayed once before a few years ago and will continue to rent this sweet, perfectly located place.

Great location! Nice fenced yard for pet and dog door. Patio was great. Lots of room. Overall good experience. A few concerns but I am really picky.

We have stayed at Rocco's a few times and always love it. Very comfortable with everything we need and central (is it too close to Woods Distillery?).

This was the perfect place to stay for the New Year’s Eve heart drop! The location couldn’t have been better! Honestly, never moved the car the whole time! Everything was walkable! Cute home! Not fancy but served our needs perfectly!

You can’t beat the location of this rental. Anthony was very responsive and check-in was a breeze. We would love the opportunity to stay here again, next time we’re in Salida.

This was a great location, close to the S mountain trails and easy for us to bike there. It was also wonderful for walking around town.

Great stay! The location was perfect—right downtown and walkable to everything. The space was comfortable, and we loved the outdoor area.

It’s a great location to enjoy the river park.

I would suggest new towels and bedding. I washed while I visited, but they are dingy and old. Lighting in the home was problematic as well. I enjoy cooking, but the lights in the kitchen were very dim and at times wouldn’t light up. On my down time from walking the river etc… the courtyard smells terrible from the dumpsters that were unmentioned.

Great location and the manger was great to communicate with. The only suggestion would be that I realize it is a very historic building but the tub/shower is unsafe for older people. Very slippery and you have to step down into it.

4th time staying at Roccos. The wife, doggo and I always have a great experience. You cannot beat the location!

This is an amazing gem! Located right in rhe heart of town you are steps away from coffee, ice cream, plenty of restaurants, and bars. Spend the day exploring town or hiking and enjoy coffee/drinks by the peaceful river. Kitchen was well stocked but we must admit with so many food choices we didn't cook. Salida is a beautiful town with lots of history. I would LOVE to stay here again!

Excellent accommodation for 2 people, less than 100 feet from the Arkansas River in the heart of of historic downtown Salida and in close proximity of restaurants and retail shops. Lots of tourist energy and noise during the day and early evening, but quiet and peaceful by bedtime. Enjoyed chilling on the patio following our daytrip adventures.

Location is amazing , very private and quiet for being in the middle of everything. It was very clean and the temperature was perfect. I really can’t say enough about how comfortable and welcoming the place is. So great that they have provided many amenities, great WiFi ! I want to come back every year!!

Great little place right in the middle of the businesses but still quiet. The back patio a little oasis for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. Concerned however that the cute little bush with pretty berries (and lovely fragrance on the spring I’m sure). Is actually a bush honeysuckle. It is terribly invasive and has already done in your aspen. Should probably get rid of it and watch for others around town.

What an incredible place to stay! We loved it. Can’t beat the location and the home has everything you need. It was a great getaway for our family. Grateful for a lovely time!

Great location - Close to River, City Park, Grocery Store and lots of restaurants. Very clean. Modern kitchen. Off-Street Parking. Big Patio. Comfortable Bed.

Check in was great. No problems. Enclosed area for the dogs to run around. Very dark inside. Only one room with a windows. And bulbs are very low wattage. We both tripped several times on a step to the bedroom. Kitchen was outfitted with everything you need to cook with other than low light. The living room had a smell like pee in the couch. We cleaned it and the paper towel was yellow that we used to wipe it down with. Coffee table was black when we wiped that down. Smell went away. Rent was close to downtown and very convenient to everything.

We loved the location and easy mud room and doggie door access for our dog when we were out and about. We usually bring a blanket for our dog to fluff up but there was even a big comfy dog bed for him to sleep on! The patio was perfect for friends coming and going to say hi throughout the day, the huge living area was nice to have, and the bed was super comfy! We did not take advantage of the washer and dryer but were impressed to see them (we clearly didn't read the listing too thoroughly...) and glad to take advantage of the iron and full-sized ironing board for wedding outfits. We can't wait to stay here again!

Can’t beat the location! The place was dusty for me, and the bathroom could use a remodel. However, it was an overall comfortable spot for our dogs and us to stay!! The bedroom was odd (with the window going to the mudroom/storage) but after getting over the cavelike feel, we actually slept quite well!

Perfect location! Furnished with everything we needed. Great follow-up and feedback from the host. Can’t wait to go back again!

So perfect to bounce around a cool historic town and enjoy coffee by the river!

This property has more of a condo/townhouse feeling than an apartment. It’s on the ground floor with your own private courtyard, which is great for sitting outside and for your pets. Once we parked we could walk to so much of the downtown district, including shops, restaurants and the river. We will definitely stay here again when traveling to Salida!!

Really enjoyed our stay

Right downtown next to Fred Lowry park and walking to restaurants and shops. Cute setup.The back is connected to a liquor store and they were moving crates of liquor (stacking it presumably) past 10pm on a Wed night. The shared door is located at the cusp of the kitchen and bedroom, so it sounds like they are inside. You'll hear their voices too. Bit unsettling. Location trumps the sound,issue however.

We were in Salida with our two dogs, and this rental couldn’t have been better. Incredible location, condo was cute and clean, and the outdoor patio was a lot of fun. Will definitely be coming back!

I booked this place because it looked like it was in the middle of all the action, and it was. It was a great spot to bring myself, my daughter and our dogs and be in walking distance from anything or everything we could need. I loved this place, and hope to come back again.

Very relaxing. The apartment had everything we needed. Going out to eat we found several excellent restaurants all within 1 to 5 minute walk. Exercise was close also.

We are repeat offenders at his wonderful house. Perfect location, perfect place to stay cozy and warm on cold nights, within walking distance of everything Salida has to offer.

I really appreciated how welcoming Rocco's was to my dog. My Aussie loved the doggie door. The place is right in the middle of everything, but fairly private. Walking distance to parks, trails, and all of downtown. Would defintely stay again.

Our hosts were prompt and friendly in replying to any questions, and the location is right downtown. To be honest, the place could use a little love. There is a notebook listing places to eat, some of which have gone out of business, and some of the kitchen basics provided expired as far back as 2020. For us, the biggest issue was temperature; this is likely not an issue for summer visitors. There are some space heaters, but you're asked to leave them off when you're not at home. So coming home from snow shoeing, when we wanted to feel cozy, the place was a bit chilly and needed time to heat up.

The stay was great, the location is great. It was less than a 5 minute walk to everything. It was very clean and we slept very well. Does not get any better than this place if you are wanting to be downtown and next to the river.

We arrived around 6:00 to Salida and didn't finish unloading our car until 8pm due there being no parking as advertised in listing. We called the owner who picked up right away was apologetic that the alley where there is a private parking spot was now blocked due to major construction. We realize this is beyond his control but you would think property owners parking areas who are affected would have been notified well in advanced of the construction. This was a major incoveniiece because we arrived on a very busy weekend and parking was extremely limited. Our las morning we discovered that a mouse or mice ate through our dogs food bag which was secure bagged in 2 ziplock, we also found a large black widow under our dog's crate as we packed up. The place needs a good deep clean and mouse traps should be set up to avoid can infestation in your place. There were no clean up instructions beyond taking trash out so we put our dirty towels in the washer. This place is in a very busy area near bars and restaurants if windows our down you can't hear much, you will not want any of the curtains open because the public can see right in to the room so the living room itself is pretty dark. The patio is a nice feature.

Just spent a couple of nights here. it's a great location and nice place. You can walk to many of the shops, the river and restaurants.

Great place In The middle of salida

Great place We hiked a few of the trails nearby. Rocco's is located within a few hundred feet of the trail heads. Beautifully furnished in a historic setting. When we initially started searching for a dog friendly place, Rocco's is dog heaven. The mud room with the dog door to the patio/courtyard was a wonderful feature. And to say Rocco's is covenient to downtown Salida's restaurants, pubs, ice cream shops , outfitters is an understatement. Hope to return.

Everything you need to have a comfortable stay in wonderful Salida! Very clean and great amenities throughout the apartment! And a nice porch and patio with a dog door for your canine family member! Walk out to river access; walking trail;park; restaurants; shops; coffee; ice cream! Safeway just a few blocks away! Definitely recommend

Had a great time! Parking is easy. Property was clean and comfy. Stayed nice and cool at night even when it was 80+ deg during day outside! Pet friendly although we didn’t need to bring our dog, it is a nice option to have. Location is PRIME. Highly recommend, would stay again.

Beautiful property right downtown practically on the river, but very private with outside courtyard. clean and roomy. I would stay again No Doubt. walking to many restaurants, riverside walkway and the downtown park are within a very short walk.

Cute cottage right downtown, steps from the river. Cottage was clean, well furnished and charming. Anthony was a charm to work with, giving us explicit arrival directions before we arrived. Kitchen pretty well supplied as we did most evening meals in. A bit noisy until 9 or so as there are venues next door, but the music was good and it quieted quickly. All in a really good experience.
