Rainbow apartment B, Pelekas beach, 40 meters from the sea

Amalia is a very hospitable host who resides like a caring mother in the compound. Always present, but never intrusive. Spiros shows his generousity not only in the delicious meals that he prepared for us, but also in sharing his recipes and cooking tips. The compound is kept very clean and the garden with local flowering shrubs and vegetable beds overlooking the blue sea is a rarity in Corfu. Last but not least, my fellow guests were very friendly and nice. It was like having a holiday with family and friends!

We have spent a great week at the beginning of August at Rainbow Apartments in Pelekas, Corfu. Amalia and Spiros did their best to make sure we feel spoiled and will be willing to come back at their property at the occasion of our next stay in Corfu island. The other reviews we have checked on homeaway proved to be accurate. - The property is exceptionnaly clean (and this was of outmost importance during this summer menaced by the Covid), - Amalia was always available to respond to our requests and very generous with her traditional pasta flora made with homemade orange jam + Greek coffee every morning at 8 am. - Spiros is an excellent passionate cook - we made him full confidence for our dinners and really enjoyed the surprise element of his proposals, the stories behind the recipes, the exquisite taste of Greek slow cooked food (if normally in the tavernas we would have gone for grills, with Spiros we had the opportunity to enjoy the sauces :) ) - Children (6 and 10 years old) had a lot of fun in the surrounding garden, with lush exotic vegetation (lemon trees, pomegranate, olive trees, prickle pears etc.) - Fine sandy beach, clear sea water was 3 minutes walk from the apartments, almost empty by 11 am during the week. All in all, we were delighted to meet Amalia and Spiros and Rainbow Apartments will definitely be our first choice if we come back to Corfu island.

We had a great stay. croissants and coffee brought to your appartment free of charge. good homemade meals. only 2 minute walk to the beach.

Apartment is perfect. Location and beach are beautiful. Spiros meal are wonderful and Amalias and Spiros hospitality makes you feel very comfortable. Thank's a lot, Amalia & Spiros!!!

We are a family of three, including a five year old boy, from St. Petersburg, Russia. We stayed at the Amalia and Spiros for three weeks. This was our second holiday in Pelekas, that we loved for its beautiful nature and the beach, but the first time with Amalia. There are no words to say how we liked their home and the family. We are very touched by the warm and informal attitude to guests by Amalia and her special love for children. Specific words deserves that this trip was for us a wonderful opportunity to explore the Greek and Corfian cuisine. It turned out that Spiros - a wonderful chef. He prepared for us a marvelous dinner several times a week with a truly Greek generosity, which means we had a plenty of food all the time of our stay. For the cooking he used the delicious vegetables from his own garden, fresh Ionian seafood and other wonderful things. In addition, the hosts served us their own wine and Amalia’s Greek desserts Pasta Flora and unforgettable loukoumades that was a hit among our son. Summing up, we will miss not only clear waters of the Ionian Sea, but also our generous and hospitable hosts. Definitely, we would recommend Rainbow to those who are with children, who have a stressful job and need a nirvana and those who love the natural delicious food. We wish to come back next year!
