Stayed Dec 31, 1969Pros: The apartment was within walking distance (15 minutes) of a secluded beach area and within short driving distance of many other beautiful beaches. There is also hiking and nature nearby. The town of Lefkimmi is not touristy, is a ten minute walk and has a great taverna, many cafes and a few supermarkets. If you want a touristy beach location for nightlife or dinner out, Kavos is only a short 5km drive. The apartment has everything you need including excellent air conditioning, TVs (one in each bedroom and one in the living room), a washing machine, and a great patio. The family who owns the apartments is wonderful and gave us many local tips for things do do -- we took their advice and each day was magic. They also helped us out the first day when we arrived and our rental car company fell through at 10pm. They helped us find another rental agency (even though thye had closed!) waited up for us and even had fresh fruits and drinks in the refrigerator. Cons: We loved everything and can't wait to go back.
