Private wine country getaway

This is my third time staying in the Private Wine Country Getaway. John is a very welcoming host. The space is thoughtfully equipped, I am always so comfortable. The locatioin is perfect and the yard is super peaceful. I will be back!

Excellent place to stay in Santa Rosa . Peaceful , warm and cozy

As a woman travelling alone, I felt very safe and secure while in the studio as well as coming and going, even at night. Shopping and restaurants were only a block away and the location was very central. The studio was very clean and well equipped with everything you need. The host was always available to welcome me and to ensure my stay was worry free. I would definitely stay there again while in Santa Rosa.

The place was clean and well a pointed. Bounce for the backyard area. Our host ensure everything was as we wanted. We would rent again if we are back in the area

Loved the place as John and Jean have thought of everything! For example they have a coffee pot AND a press pot if that is your fancy. So many teas, coffees, chocolates. Half and half in the frig. Separate room from the main house, very private, roomy, comfy queen bed with super soft sheets, kitchen area with even a crockpot, toaster oven, table and two chairs, microwave and small frig. A large closet with shelving. Very clean, well appointed bathroom. Step out the door to take a nap on lounge chairs or have morning coffee at the cafe table. Starbucks is maybe 1/3 of a mile away. Reading material if you forget yours, TV with cable. You’ll be back, I know we will be.

Quiet, private , good amount of space , and a lovely garden to enjoy. Good location for our plans. John xtra got us beach chairs for the winery concert we were attending. Very thoughtful.

Love this place. So cute. Cozy. Perfect size. Close to everything you’d want to enjoy. We’ve stayed here a couple of dozen times. Never gets old!

Lovely yard to enjoy. Very well appointed with nice kitchenette, upscale coffee and a little sitting area to have your meals. Would stay here again.

A great property in a quiet neighborhood. Everything we wanted to see and travel to was easily accessible. The host was attentive and kind.

This beautifully decorated apartment was the perfect size. The bed was comfort heaven, the shower was lovely and the kitchen did the trick for my microwave, coffee pot and fridge needs. There is a fountain in the backyard garden where the table and chairs and shade are - I enjoyed my glass of wine while listening to it, so peaceful and meditative. I will absolutely return to this jewel studio when I return to Santa Rosa!Thanks, John, for your friendly and attentive hospitality!

This is my second stay and all was just as wonderful as the first time. John is the perfect host and makes sure that you feel welcomed. The room is extremely clean and comfortable. This time I had a bit more spare time and with the beautiful weather, was able to take advantage of sitting out in the well maintained yard. Highky recommend this place.

Traveled to Santa Rosa for a weeklong training seminar. John and Jean have a lovely home with a beautiful backyard garden area where the rental unit is located. I was at the seminar all day every day and it was so nice to come back to such a serene setting. I had laundry to do at the end of my stay which John was more than happy to assist me with. Highly recommend!p.s. For those without a car, it's walking distance from In-N-Out, Safeway, CVS, Peet's Coffee, etc.

I am extremely pleased with my stay. Tue room was very well maintained and comfortable. The years was absolutely beautiful and I wish the weather had been a bit warmer so that I could have truly taken advantage of the space. I also loved the fact that this was so close to shopping so that I could easily walk to the store. John was also an amazing and responsive host. He responded to my messages very quickly and went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was perfect. I would definitely recommend this spot.

This is a great place to stay. Comfortable, quiet, and just as represented. We loved the personal touches of coffee and half and half and the beautiful Camellia that greated us on our arrival. John was available for any questions and a terrific host! We would definitely stay here again!

The suite is very comfortable and feels inviting and safe. There is a beautiful yard where you can read or sit and have coffee. John is welcoming and approachable. I would stay there again.

My husband and I have stayed here 5 or 6 times in the past few years while visiting family in Santa Rosa. This is a one room Vrbo with a small kitchen area and a full bath. It is always clean and cozy. John always has half and half in the fridge and coffee for the coffee pot. He also has a bowl of chocolates, which is just a treat to come home to in the evening. Visitors are welcome to relax in a lovely backyard with beautiful flowers and a water feature. I just can’t say enough about the feeling of home we have here. Our family is moving from Santa Rosa to Md, and while I’m happy they are closer to us we will miss John and this lovely Vrbo. We can’t recommend it enough. We realized thru the years that there were places closer to the family’s house, but having stayed here once we were not interested in “moving.”

I originally selected this accommodation for its very walkable location, and I was thrilled by the prompt communication by John and Jean, the quality of the property, and their thoughtfulness throughout my stay.

A fantastic choice for any couple who would like to be centrally located in wine country. Visited both Napa and Sonoma wineries on this visit. The host is always super helpful!

Love staying in this cozy studio. It has everything i need in a peaceful setting. The fireplace provided cheery warmth with a flip of the switch. I sat in the comfy chair with the provided throw and enjoyed not having to go out in the rain. The little kitchenette is perfect for leftovers and snacks. John is a great host. I'll stay again anytime I'm in town!

We only stay here when we are in town. It’s the perfect location to everywhere. During this trip we enjoyed breweries, downtown, walks, and great food. John was and always is the perfect host. Already looking forward to next time.

We visited family in Santa Rosa and stayed two nights at the getaway: convenient, close to everything we wanted to do, quiet and comfortable.

Very pleased

Our stay was for the most part very good. The studio is well furnished and equipped. It offers great views and privacy. Our only quip are the stairs - we are over seventy and getting up and down two sets of stairs was a tad challenging. The place is small but well organized and perfect place to land for the night.

Comfortable, conveniently located--to our family and the Safeway!--and had everything we needed. Thank you to our wonderful hosts!

Cozy and quiet place with close proximity to everything. If you are new to the area, this place is a perfect location. It was clean and well equipped. Had a nice weekend away.

The property was well located in a quiet neighborhood, convenient to stores, and restaurants and the family we were visiting. Everything in the property was neat and clean and properly stocked with necessities and a few goodies. The room was well laid out and very cozy. We could not take advantage of the beautiful yard because of weather.

The owner was great , so nice and kind , the room was very well maintained , the bed was very comfortable. The room overlooked a beautiful back yard , stunning !We will be back for sure .

This little VRBO efficiency is just as cute as its pictures. The hosts have truly thought of everything down to providing half-n-half for your coffee! I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect little hideaway right in Santa Rosa. Close proximity to vineyards, restaurants…and great size for me and my husband for our weekend getaway. John was super nice and helped us get situated (since I missed that part of the message on which unit it was- lol)- but we all took it in stride and adjusted. I was a bit embarrassed…but he was great about it

My elderly mother stayed here and it’s a very nicely appointed room. Very well done. A nice property with easy instructions and a friendly host. No complaints.

John is a warm friendly host who created a well appointed, clean spacious studio with ample kitchen space and access to a lovely backyard. We enjoyed breakfast in the yard seated under a shade structure listening to songbirds and a fountain. It’s a perfect location for a Sonoma vacation located in a quiet neighborhood.

We loved the facilities and the access to the outdoor garden and bbq as well as close proximity to restaurants and charles schultz museum.

Plenty of room, easy to checkin and great location! Will definitely stay again!

The space was better than pictured. Our hosts were wonderful and made the visit great. The location was perfect for wine tasting. It was quiet, romantic and better than any hotel.

Check in was easy and the space was great. My husband and I were in town to tour some vineyards in Healdsburg and Sonoma, so the location was perfect.

One of two cottages in an inviting private backyard. Close to Hwy 101, Safeway, Crooks Coffee downtown and several outstanding eating spots. Owner John fantastic. Definitely returning.
