Stayed Jan 8, 2026I stayed at Bliss Oasis from 1/8/26 -1/12/26. This is not located in Buccoo. It is located in Mt Pleasant. It is not conveniently located to restaurants, bars, supermarkets, beaches. You will need a car to get around or be prepared to spend ALOT of money on taxi's. The house has no identifying lot number. During my stay there was construction taking place downstairs and there was ALOT of noise starting at 8am with loud hammering and/or drilling and continued at different times during the day. One of the days there was no running water at all until 3pm. We were unable to shower or flush the toilets. There was no running water in the kitchen sink for our entire stay, which I did not address with the host since we ate out for most of our time on the island. On the day of our departure the water was shut off to complete plumbing by the construction workers. When I inquired, I was told I will have to wait for them to finish what they were doing… rude. You will have to use your own log in information for Netflix, HBO, etc. The apartment is on the upper floor and you will need to navigate about 15 steps, it’s important to know if you have any ambulation issues. Pros: The space is clean, and comfortable. The rooms are spacious. It was well stocked with towels, pots, pans, dishes, linens. The host was responsive. However, had the host planned properly and ensured readiness of the place for arriving guest.
