Near Ice Fishing & Snowmobiling: Frankfort Home

This was a lovely getaway. It was even nicer than the pictures showed. The hosts were attentive and friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend this place.

Home was fresh, clean and suited our familys needs. We really enjoyed our time there. Thank you to our hosts for offering such a nice place to stay.

Very clean well stocked cottage, skylights made it bright inside, flowers planted near windows, a very responsive host. Frankfort has a great grocery store, several pubic beach/marina areas, a well stocked bookstore, restaurants. A wooded retreat, close to the water.

Super clean, comfortable beds and living room & dining furniture. Large bathroom, good shower. The only negatives were: lack of grill, no outside table or activities, kitchen lacked adequate cookware (had just very minimal basics) and only 2 so-so pillows for each sleeping space. Beds were firm, comfortable and there was enough linens. Towels were thick, very nice. Really nice place, especially for mature people. Very quiet area & no noise from the other unit.

My wife, three daughters and I love staying in the Samantha apartment hosted by Scott and Cindy. It is tremendously clean and comfortable with all the amenities for a beach vacation in Frankfort/Elberta. It is close to Bestie Bay and the river trail, easy walk or bike ride into Frankfort or Elberta. It is our second year in a row and we will be back again.

Thoughtful hosts respond quickly to questions, brought us sheets for the pull out couch.The place is sparkling clean and stocked with essentials for kitchen and bath.We loved to natural setting!

It was nice to be so close to Frankfort but also be able to retreat back to the house with kids into a place that wasn't super distracting and busy

We were only there 2 nights and 1 full day. I was under the impression that it was in the town of Frankfort near downtown but was actually outside of the town. Needed to drive to downtown to the restaurants, beach and shop. For those willing to walk 1.5 to 2 miles to downtown there is a paved trail across the main road from the house. The house itself was comfortable and clean. It is 1 of 4 units.

We realy loved this unit! It was comfortable and clean and cozy! Location was great for us with a 15-20 minutes walk to downtown and the beach! Surroundings are just beautiful with trees around the house and a short walk to the lake! We would definitely come again!

Very clean and stocked. Property is very well maintained. We did a Charter trip. It was a short drive to the merina. Came home with lots of Salman.

The property had everything we needed and the owner went out their way for us. Really do appreciate all they have to offer.

Charming Retreat was wonderful, for the second time. We enjoyed the beautiful beach, shopping and delicious food! Also, we took a drive up to the Leelanau peninsula. Gorgeous! The house is very well kept and stocked. The couple ...lovely! Thank you!

The house was clean and it was close to downtown Frankfort and just a couple minute drive from the beach and other attractions. I would recommend staying here and I would stay here again.

Scott and Cindy are amazing hosts and have all the details covered. Location is fantastic, just a block from Betsey walking trail and short drive to downtown Frankfort and the beach. This is our second stay with this propery and we will be back. 3 words to describe the hosts: generous, kind, authentic. 3 words to describe the apartment: charming, clean, equipped. Cant wait to come back next year. We will definitely stay here a 3rd time! Thank you Scott and Cindy!

Perfectly situated between Elberta and Frankfort, easy access to the Betsie River trail for a short bike ride or walk. The apartment was great, clean and well maintained. Scott and his wife were attentive hosts and checking in as need if we needed anything. Daughter left a shirt and they texted us right away so we could turn around, I thought they were gracious hosts.
