Green Mountain Forest Retreat

Exquisite, newly constructed, private apartment situated in quiet wooded area next to Mt Mansfield in the Green Mountains of VT. Spacious and well equipped with unique features including: Jacuzzi tub with sound system; large fully equipped kitchen with all appliances; large outdoor 2nd floor deck with BBQ, work area with computer for guest use, gas fireplace, high speed internet and 65 UHD Smart TV streaming movies, etc; Full sized washer and dryer. and much more. Nestled in the forest, surrounded by trees, feels like a tree house. Very private and quiet.

This is large, brand new, luxury apartment with a Vermont rustic feel. Large windows and skylights all around with views of the trees in every direction. Heated hardwood and tile floors throughout. One bedroom has a new queen bed with plush mattress. Another full size queen sofa bed is the living area. Sleeps up to 4 adults total.

The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with a range, dishwasher, full size fridge, microwave, Keurig beverage machine and all the dishes and cookware you would need.

The bathroom has heated floors, a large full size tiled shower and a Jacuzzi tub with a great sound system. You can relax in the Jacuzzi after a day of skiing or hiking and listen to your favorite music.

There is a gas fireplace for heat and ambiance: a great spot to sit in a cozy chair and read a book. The living area has a comfortable couch and a large screen TV equipped with a Chromecast for streaming from your own device.

The attached deck is very large and provides a great spot to enjoy a meal while surrounded by the forest. There is a gas grill for guest use on the deck.

There is a work area with a computer and printer for guest use. Handy for researching local trails, dining, attractions, etc., or printing out maps and boarding passes.

There is a full size washer and dryer in the apartment.

This is a unique Vermont location. We are right next to Mt. Mansfield and almost in the Green Mountain State Forest but with easy access to the city of Burlington. Short drives to Smugglers Notch and Bolton Valley Ski Areas. Some of the best hiking in VT in the Green Mountains is right here - Mt Mansfield (the tallest peak in VT) is in our backyard. Excellent cross country skiing right here- local trails on the west side of Mt. Mansfield or other areas in our neighborhood. Easy drive to Lake Champlain and Burlington for great night life. Scenic bike rides on local roads with views of the mountains.

(Note regarding access to Stowe. We are on the West Side of Mt. Mansfield and Stowe Resort is on the east. In summer the drive is about 30 to 40 minutes via Rte 108. In the winter, Rte 108 is closed and Stowe must be accessed through I-91 and Waterbury which is about 45 mins to an hour drive.)
