Stayed Jul 1, 2025Great location to expore snaefellsnes peninsula from for our family. The apartment is well equipped and spacious. We loved the farm setting. It would have been nice though to have been informed of the need to boil water for drinking ahead of time. We arrived late with no water and boiling then cooling water to drink was tedious when arriving tired. Had we known we could have picked up water at a store on our drive in. Otherwise, great stay.

Stayed May 23, 2025Beautiful farm with amazing views. We had everything we needed, the kitchen had plenty of items to cook with, towels and bedding. The hot tub did not work and the shower pressure wasn’t great, however the sheep, horses and lovely owners made up for it.

Stayed May 10, 2025The apartment is on the ground floor overlooking the beautiful Iceland landscape. Arny and the family are great people, they had plenty of suggestions about what to do. Be prepared to walk out the front door to lambs, sheep, and horses! It was a great place to stay and would recommend it to everyone who wants to experience the quiet side of Iceland.

Stayed Apr 4, 2025The apartment is about 100 yards from Rte 1 which has light traffic including trucks that you hear, but that wasn’t an issue for us. We did an all day drive around the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. For that, Borgarnes would be a better base just to save extra driving.
