Excellent apartment on the first floor of the house in the countryside, on a farm. The house is located in a beautiful and peaceful valley called Norðurárdalur in Borgarfjörður, 154 km from Keflavík International Airport (1 hour and 55 minutes drive). From the borders of Reykjavík city, the drive is about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The apartment was renovated in 2008. It is 70 square meters of size and is well equipped, i.e. microwave, coffee machine and a washer and free WiFi. Beddings and towels included. There are two rooms and in site the apartment, one bedroom and a living room with a pull-out sofa. In two rooms are double beds and in one is a full size bunk bed. We also have a portable bed for a child. 6 people can easily guest in the house. The living room has a large couch, modern facilities and furniture. It is directly connected to the dining area and the kitchen.brThe kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, baking oven, dishwasher, stove, microwave and other equipment. In the bathroom is a toilet, shower and washing machine.brOn the patio there is a gas grill, garden furniture and a hot tub. brbrThe house is not far from amazing must see“ places such as Deildartunguhver, Reykholt, Hraunfossar, Husafell and the glasier Langjokull. Have a memorable day at Snæfellsnes National Park, It was voted one of **Iceland Top Five** to visit. Hítarneskot – Oceanfront House with Private Hot Tub

Hítarneskot is a ocean front private house with a hottube and a mountain view. Hìtarneskot serves as a central location to explore the beautiful surroundings of the Snaefellsnes peninsula, including the Eldborg Volcanic Crater, a nearby geothermal pool, the village of Stykkisholmur, Arnarstapi/Hellnar and the Snaefellsjokull glacier. Hítarneskot is located approximately 10 km (7 miles) from the Eldborg Volcanic Crater, 40 km (25 miles) from the town of Borgarnes, 55 km (34 miles) from the historic town of Stykkisholmur, 75 km (47 miles) from Arnarstappi/Hellnar and the Snaefellsjokull glacier. The house stands by the shore. It is far away from farms in the area so you can enjoy some peace and quiet of Icelandic nature. Our location is ideal for observing the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) as they can be seen from October through March. There are no nearby light that can prevent your experience. The house was refurnished in January 2015. The house was built in 1945 and is a old farm so the house looks old on the outside but is brand new on the inside! Up to nine people can sleep comfortably in the house. Our house have full kitchen (including , toaster, coffee machine, refrigerator, baker oven, kattle, dishwasher.), sitting area, two bathrooms ( one with shower), and outside seating area with new bbq grill. While you sit on the outsite Fresh linens are provided. While sitting on the outside seating you can watch the sunset and the beutifull Snaefellsjokull and if you are lucky you can see wild horses run on the beach.
