This flat is very comfortable and situated just a few yards off Edinburgh's famous 'Royal Mile'. This is a lovely, bright, 1st floor flat with one bedroom containing a standard size double bed and two single camp beds. The flat has a separate living room, separate kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and short bath. The TV in the living room is a Smart TV so you can watch all of your favourite shows!

Please note we do not provide hypoallergenic bedding at our properties.

This property has a travel cot. Due to safety reasons, we do not provide linens/bedding for the cot and kindly ask that you bring your own.

Pubs, clubs, pavement cafes and restaurants are all within one minute walk in this historic city. The Royal Mile is situated at the heart of Edinburgh's major sights such as Edinburgh Castle, Mary King's Close, St. Giles Cathedral, Holyrood Palace, The Witchery, Scottish Parliament Building and Scotland's major galleries and museums including the Scotch Whisky Experience. It is also within easy walking distance from Edinburgh's principle shopping area, Princes Street.

Open topped tour buses are also within easy walking distance at Waverley train station. The former Royal Yacht Britannia is worth a visit at Leith's Ocean Terminal. Further afield, within a few hours travelling you can visit St.Andrews, home of golf and take tours of the highlands of Scotland including Loch Ness and the romantic Isle of Skye.

At the top of the street there is a newsagent for immediate supplies and there is a Co-Op/small supermarket down St Mary's Street (turn left from the flat and straight on for 5minutes).

A £200 refundable damage/security deposit is due 7 days before arrival, and refunded after departure.

All properties are strictly non-smoking, and do not accept hen/stag/party groups. At least one guest must be over 25 years old.

Check in is from 4pm, and check out is before 11am.

Please note if you have booked for 2 guests but require use of a camp bed, or have booked for 3 guests but require use of both camp beds, there will be a small additional charge for the provision of this.

    The position of the apartment was terrific, being close to the train station and the Royal mile. The communication was very good and clear in relation to the keyed entry. The bathroom was clean and the water hot. We walked everywhere and the area was very safe. Disappointing was the old dusty carpet and grotty stairwell. I was surprised to have to strip the bed of linen and find old duvet and mattress cover. For the price a hotel stay would have been a similar price, with better linen, towels etc.

    Location is brilliant- within walking distance to all the tourist hot spots. Apartment is as described however the entry stairwell is poorly lit and a trip hazard. We had issues when we first arrived which were not responded to by host for over 24 hours. Apartment has, as described, old worldly charm - open to interpretation. Great to have a seperate living area as bedroom was cluttered with unused fold out beds. Also only 1 window could be opened so ventilation was an issue.

    Our stay in the apartment was very nice. The location is great, hard to beat: everything within walking distance. The accommodation was as described, well equipped and cozy. We felt very comfortable here!

    Needs a few repairs but it was still very cozy and the location is amazing. The owner is very friendly. If I had the opportunity(which I hope I do) I would stay again.

    Our family (2 adults and kids aged 8 and 6) had a great stay here. The location was fantastic. It is close to everything and was so nice to be able pop back in anytime the kids needed a break.

    Property OK, but there is a big problem with the internet - it is very slow, too slow for the television, which relies on it. I spoke to Catrina, who was very unhelpful. Slow internet and no tv unacceptable in 2023.

    I would not stay here again. We had a trash heap of old bicycles with rotted tires and other crap just outside of our door. And from the smell it seems cats would occasionally make their way in thru a broken window of a door to an outside landing and pee somewhere in the hallway. The apartment itself is not bad and seemed well kept. Good hot water. Nice kitchen. Bathroom fan needs some work.
