The property was charming, and in a very convenient location. Everything was clean, tidy, cozy. It was perfect for our family weekend with teenagers. It fit our needs!

We enjoyed everything about this well loved property. It is cozy, quaint, comfortable and SPOTLESSLY clean. This is no small feat as it is dog friendly. The location is ideal for all Newport activities. Barbara, Ed and their sweet dog George made every effort to make us welcome and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back!Eileen Orisak

Lovely house and owners in a wonderful environment. We only stayed two days but would love to come back and stay longer!

I came for a weekend with a friend to go to a wedding. We looked at hotels but they were expensive and small. This apartment was really cute, comfortable and roomy! We were each able to have our own room! The apartment was incredibly clean and pleasant. The weather was pretty warm, but with the windows open we didn't need a/c. There's a lovely deck off of one of the bedrooms. There are 2 beaches that are less than a mile away. We walked to Second Beach which was really nice! We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Barb and Ed were wonderful hosts! The house was close to everything we wanted to see. The house was well stocked with thoughtful extras and the beds were comfortable for a great nights sleep. Would recommend this place to anyone!

I signed up for the Newport marathon and made a weekend of it with my husband and pup. We made a weekend out of it. 2 nights. Friday my husband played a 9 hole golf course in Jamestown while I went to scope the marathon course, get my bib and brought my pup for a walk at a park I pondered upon. Being 1 mile from the starting line of the marathon was perfect since I just jogged there as a warm up and my husband didn’t have to find busy parking if we were to drive in for the day (we didn’t even think or know we were that close to the start line so it was a nice surprise!). The place was cozy and super accommodating. It had everything we needed. Would stay here again if I choose to run another race here!

Barb & Ed are amazing hostesses and really thought of just about everything for your stay. The VRBO was quiet, calm, and cozy. Would recommend this to families of 4 or less or 2 couples max.

This sweet holiday appartment is much rather a home than just a place to be. We really loved to be there!

This upper floor of a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood was perfect for our 3-night stay. It was very cozy with with plenty of room for 3 adults, comfy beds, full kitchen, and more. We especially loved the 2nd floor deck, from which you could smell and faintly hear the ocean, plus the beautifully landscaped gardens below. Location was ideal for access to 3+ local beaches, mansion tours, cliff walk, and great restaurants in Newport as well as within walking distance from home. We also enjoyed visiting with the hosts and their adorable dog. I only wish our stay could have been longer!

We had a wonderful stay at Barb and Ed’s place. The rental was clean and spacious. The location was fantastic. It was a very quick and easy drive into Newport. There was more than enough room for our family of 5. The space was well stocked with everything we needed. Thank you, Barb and Ed (and George too!) for sharing your wonderful space with our family.

We had a perfect stay while attending my daughter’s graduation. The location was perfect for us and the hospitality was wonderful. Clean rooms, plenty of towels etc.
