This is a great apartment and a great location. I was so pleased to have found this place for 3 nights. It was very comfortable and clean, with lots of space, and I was able to cook dinners for a local friend. Just a wonder place for relaxing. I highly recommend this apartment.

This place is the perfect place for two people and within walking distance to all the attractions in the center of town. It is across the street from a beautiful green park where once there was a castle. Climb up to the top and get the most beautiful views of the city. The owner was extremely kind and overall wonderful.

We were very happy with the appartement. Great location.

The apartment had all basic necessities. Nothing extra. Communication was slow. Checkin was easy and they even offered early check in. Waltreut was very nice to deal with, once we got connected.

This sweet little apartment was just what we wanted, close to the old town, the hosts were great. My only complaint is that the bathroom was too small and the shower curtain was broken. I would stay here again if I ever return to Freiburg

Location is the key to this compact and functional apartment: Right by the Schwabentor, 2 minutes walk to the tram stop and a short walk and lift to the view point and beer garden called Kastaniengarten. Check in was great with the owners meeting us just outside! Little noise from the main Road outside due to triple glazing; small outdoor space and pleasant and clean living space. The bathroom was a ‘wet room’ which was small but it worked for our stay. Used as a base as the weather was good and lots of exploration to be undertaken it suited us perfectly.

We loved the convenience and comfort of our stay! Our hosts are second to none. They provided information on the area and are charming and thoughtful. The apartment is sparkling clean and convenient to everything. Thank you!!!

Great location for exploring Freiburg and the Black Forest. Facilities are great for a short stay. Perfect size for two people. Welcoming host.

4 night stay to explore the Black Forest

Waltraut and his wife could not be more welcoming and kind. We were lucky to encounter them in the village a few times after checking in and they were always so nice and ready to recommend places for us to eat and drink. If you come to Freiburg, there is no better place stay and no better people to meet! The bathroom is small, but for a short stay it wa a perfect.
