Four Bedroom, Updated Cabin in Teton Village

Teton Village, Wyoming, United States

**Minimum Night Stay Requirements May Vary and Final Availability is Subject to Homeowner Approval**brbrShooting Star Cabin 11 is the perfect basecamp for a large family or group of friends looking to adventure around Jackson Hole. In the Cabins at Shooting Star West, near the base of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and the southwest entrance to Grand Teton National Park, Cabin 11 makes it easy for your day to include hiking, skiing, mountain and road biking, Nordic skiing, whitewater and scenic rafting on the Snake River, snowshoeing, soaking in hot springs, and wildlife watching. And then you get to return home and relax in front of a fire in the great room, soak in the hot tub, have drinks on the patio next to one of the many private creeks that wind through Shooting Star, curl up on a couch and read or watch a movie, or prepare a meal in the professional-grade kitchen.brbrDesigned by Paul Bertelli of the noted Rocky Mountain design firm JLF & Associates, Cabin 11’s smart layout of three separate-but-connected pavilions allows it to feel intimate, yet also host gatherings of your whole group. (The 4,063-square-foot home sleeps up to 12 people in 4 suites; additionally, there is a day bed.) The airy main living area—a combined kitchen, dining area, and great room—sits on the main level of the central pavilion. Here windows frame ski runs at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and the major peaks of the southern Tetons. French doors on either side of this space lead to separate outdoor living spaces: a lawn on the north side of the home and a south-facing patio with a hot tub, grill, and seating area. brbrTo maximize the privacy of the master suite, it gets its own pavilion. On the southern end of the home, the master suite is separated from the main pavilion by a glass hallway and includes a sleeping area with a natural gas fireplace, a walk-in closet, and a large bathroom with a deep soaking tub, double vanity, and oversize walk-in shower. Within the master bath, the WC is separate from the vanity/bathing area. Additional privacy comes from the fact the master suite is the only bedroom on the main floor. brbrUpstairs are three suites offering a range of sleeping situations: one suite features a king-size bed, the second has two twin-size beds, and the third has a king and two twins along with a wet bar. These three suites share a sunny office/library on the landing at the top of the stairs. All of Cabin 11’s bedroom suites have a flat-screen TV.brbrAdditional spaces on the main level—all at the opposite end of the home from the master suite—are a media/TV room, the laundry room, a mud room with built-in cabinetry, and a two-car garage. brbrAll of Cabin 11’s spaces feature a soothing color palette and reclaimed materials. The home’s art collection includes many pieces that are contemporary takes on wildlife and the west. (Although maybe you’ll be most drawn to artist Jo Mora’s 1933 classic Western work, “Sweetheart of the Rodeo,” which hangs in the hallway between the front entry and the main living space.) brbrOnce your lodging is secured, a member of The Clear Creek Group Concierge team will work with you to build an itinerary for your visit to Jackson Hole!

The Clear Creek Group : Shooting Star Cabin 01 : Shooting Star / Teton Village

Teton Village, Wyoming, United States

**Minimum Night Stay Requirements May Vary and Final Availability is Subject to Homeowner Approval**brbrShooting Star Cabin 1 is a beauty of a Jackson Hole vacation rental: substantial, welcoming and full of light, its rustic barn board siding and log-and-mortar walls harking back to old Wyoming while inside all is comfort and joy, with luxury appliances and a state-of-the-art sound system. The peaked, shingled roofline echoes the mountains that surge against the sky for miles upon miles; velvet lawn and native plantings apron the property. When the tall mullioned windows are open, Cabin 1 fills up with sweet, dry mountain air.brbrThe front door swings open to the cabin-like foyer; steps beyond, creamy walls and bleached wood amplify the wonderful natural light of Cabin 1. The house seems to float on sunlight. An airy, wide open Great Room crowns the top of the house, and vast wilderness vistas roll away from every window. The kitchen, dining and living areas share this big, bright space, while a distributed audio system saturates the room with music, movie soundtracks, or the morning news - whatever you choose. The long wood dining table, overhung by a circular chandelier with Edison bulbs, stands between the fire lit living room and the luxury kitchen. It is a wonderful place to celebrate, especially when snow is falling silently outside the windows. A magic feeling of expectation for the new day begins to gather: a world of white, fresh painted.brbrIn the kitchen, a center island with prep sink is bracketed by a fabulous, six-burner Wolf range at one end and a counter/breakfast bar at the other. The kitchen has a walk-in pantry, a huge refrigeration system and a wine cooler. In the great room, a gathering of leather armchairs and a canvas sofa face the big, wood-burning stone fireplace, overhung by a tiered iron chandelier; But the show-stealer is the massive, 30’ floor-to-ceiling picture window framing the glorious panorama outside, filled to the brim with sky and mountains.brbrThe dining area and kitchen share this big open space as well, where the crackling fire and whopping view are visible from every corner. A flat screen television is mounted above the fireplace, which is concealed behind folding wood panels when not in use. Clever standing lamps give the illusion of heavy chains suspended from feather-weight lampshades.brbrThe kitchen is charming with its combination of western rusticity and gleaming, high-end appliances. Massive rafters frame the space; classic barn lights illuminate a leather-bracketed granite island and weathered wood cabinets; the handsome Wolff range has a quilted steel backsplash and a pot filler. At the other end of the room, just behind the dining table, two sets of French doors lead out to the great stone terrace, where a hot tub, Adirondack chairs, a dining table and a gas grill bask under the might of the Tetons.brbrThe first floor has a spot for everything: besides the kitchen, dining and living areas, there is a spacious laundry room, powder room, a space just for storing outdoor gear, and a guest room with a king bed and en suite bath.brbrOn the second floor, the grand master bedroom offers a gas fireplace and a breathtaking prospect from the four-poster bed; you’ll want to take your time getting up in the morning, watching sunlight frame the Gros Ventre Range while the fire burns peacefully. An alcove opens to a walk-in closet and to the master bath, exposing an airy, wood-paneled room with a soaking tub, glass walled shower, double sinks and a private water closet.brbrJust down from the second floor landing is a cozy, four-berth bunkroom. Classic wool blankets warm the beds; drawers built into the bottom bunks give ample space for clothes storage. The second-floor media room has a long, enticing sectional, which can easily convert to a king size bed for guests, if needed. Cowhide ottomans and Wild West art harkens to the adventures outside; and a big barn door can slide across the entrance for guests’ privacy.brbrOutside on the terrace, the big stone hearth is the place for cocktails, hearty appetizers and making plans for the next day’s pursuits. Jackson Hole’s fabulous bike paths runs nearby, offering a combustion-free passport to almost every site in the valley, from downtown Jackson to the gates of Grand Teton National Park. Shooting Star provides a ski shuttle that will deliver you and your gear from Fish Creek Lodge 2 to the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort with a simple phone call. Or, if you’re feeling extra adventurous, The Clear Creek Group would be happy to set up a tandem paragliding session. Make sure friends and family in Fish Creek Lodge 2 are looking out the huge Great Room window to watch you soar by!

Luxury Cabin in Teton Village, expansive ski slope views

Teton Village, Wyoming, United States

**Minimum Night Stay Requirements May Vary and Final Availability is Subject to Homeowner Approval.**brbrA serene home at peace with its magnificent setting and its gracious role as a host to all. This stately residence sits nestled near a stand of pine trees, within sight of the local definition of its name: the treed terrain of Four Pines, a beloved destination outside the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort boundary. Set within Shooting Star—a luxury development in Teton Village—the five-bedroom home offers a winter ski shuttle for easy access to the slopes. Context aside, the aesthetics of the house allure. Decorative barn wood doors flank the window above the front portico. With the Tetons descending to greet the valley floor, every seating ensemble within the great room grants access to breathtaking scenery. Studded armchairs with leather pillows flank a pair of trimmed tweed sofas, and an antler candelabra accents the hammered metal coffee table. Beyond the slab slate bench beneath the fireplace, a woven armchair offers further fireside seating. An elegant bison print graces the mantel. Luxury cabin in Teton Village with ski slope views

Teton Village, Wyoming, United States

**Minimum Night Stay Requirements May Vary and Final Availability is Subject to Homeowner Approval.**brbrFrom the outside, this beautiful home looks a lot like its neighbors: rustic, but in a sophisticated, modern way. Inside though, local interior designer Jacque Jenkins-Stireman has created a one-of-a-kind space equally suited to hanging out and entertaining. She’s combined influences as diverse as Kit Kemp—the designer behind hot London properties like the Covent Garden and Charlotte Street Hotels and New York’s Crosby Street Hotel—and traditional Western heritage with contemporary fine art, chic custom furniture, and antique finds. “This isn’t just a cookie-cutter place to stay at night, but a property with a personality,” says Jenkins-Stireman. “It’s a home that will come to feature in the memories of your vacation here.”brbrFour Pines 14’s personality is apparent as soon as you walk in the front door. A hallway lined with art pulls you past a powder room and into a combined kitchen/dining/living room with a wall of west-facing windows, a wood-burning fireplace, artwork from local galleries, high-ceilinged barn wood ceilings, colorful accents, and a professional, open kitchen with a Wolf range and oven. French doors off the dining area open to an expansive patio. Whether grilling or soaking in the hot tub, from the patio you can watch the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort tram shuttling skiers and sightseers up and down Rendezvous Mountain. (JHMR’s base area is a short shuttle ride or walk away, although we don’t recommend the latter in ski boots!)brbrAlso on the first floor are a media room and the master suite. Local architect Logan Leachman, of JLF & Associates, designed the home such that the latter is extremely private: It’s in its own wing. The master suite, which has a gas burning fireplace, is also bright with sunshine—even in its bathroom. Enjoy Jackson Hole’s 300+ days of annual sunshine from a seating area in the bedroom or while lounging in the deep soaking tub in the bathroom. The window adjacent to the bathtub has some of the best views of JHMR and the southern Tetons in the valley.brbrFour Pines 14’s four guest bedrooms, all of which have private bathrooms, are on the second floor. The north side of the home has two bedrooms—a junior master suite with a king bed and a guest room with two twin beds that can be converted into a single king-size bed. These can be accessed by a private entrance near the garage. (They can also be accessed from the main entrance.) Aside from having their own private entrance, a shared wet bar allows these bedrooms a degree of autonomy from the rest of the house.brbrTwo more bedrooms are in the home’s south wing. Ascending the main stairs to the second floor, a spacious landing greets you. Shelves here are stocked with board games from Yahtzee to Monopoly and Scrabble. Or settle into one of the chairs tucked into the corner here with one of the many books happily scattered throughout the home. Four Pines 14’s library ranges from style and design titles from Assouline to classic mountain literature like Jon Krakauer’s Into Thin Air.brbrA bedroom suite immediately off the landing has two twin beds. Directly above the master suite is a guest bedroom with a king-size bed. A leather bench beneath a west-facing window is the perfect place to sit with a book in the evening.brbrShooting Star is home to Jackson Hole’s most in-demand addresses. Four Pines homes are within walking distance of the shopping and dining in the base area of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, a few short miles from the entrance of Grand Teton National Park. A ski shuttle to the slopes is available during ski season. A maintained bike pathway connects Shooting Star to the towns of Wilson and Jackson.
