Green Lake is Wisconsin's deepest inland lake and provides ample opportunities for great fishing and water sports. Bustling in the summer, Green Lake is a serene and picturesque get-away spot for fall, winter and spring as well.brbrWe have a private pier. Should you bring or rent a boat, we have a shore station (boat lift) to keep your boat (max. 4,000 lbs.) safely out of the water when not in use. The large, gently sloping front lawn is perfect for a variety of yard games...croquet and bean bags are our personal favorites.brbrBuilt in the late 1800's, the house, named 'White Oaks,' was significantly damaged by a fire in 1995 and was rebuilt in 1998. The house now features vintage charm with a number of features from the old house combined with modern conveniences.brbrThe highlight of the house is the original wrap-around screened-in porch. The porch itself is huge (over 800 square feet) and is a perfect spot to relax on one of the gliders or rocking chairs and enjoy the lake breeze anytime of day, or for an al fresco dinner on the large dining table.brbrInside, four bedrooms are on the main floor and each feature either a bathroom or sink for increased privacy, and all of them have a ceiling fan. In the basement, a six-person bunk room is a perfect retreat for the kids. There is some additional sleeping space on a pull-out couch and futon. The captions for the pictures of each bedroom describe the bed configurations.brbrOn the main floor, a large eat-in kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, cookware and flatware, as well as common appliances such as coffee makers. On the main level are 3 bedrooms: 1 room has a king size bed, 1 room a queen size bed and the 3rd bedroom has 2 twin sized. The lower level is perfect for kids with their own full bath, TV room and 2 sofa sleepers! There is also a large laundry room with washer and dryer. The house has a large great room with ceiling to floor windows showing off the breath taking views of Green Lake. The backyard features a huge grassy area with built in picnic table and fire pit. Beyond the backyard the pier leads you to beautiful Green Lake where guests can fish or jump in the lake for a refreshing swim. Swim shoes recommended. There is also a boat lift for rent if needed.
