Named after a pretty little peak to the west of Zermatt, this is a truly pretty one bedroom apartment (and can sleep 3 people if you use the sofa bed). The apartment has lovely views straight out on to The Matterhorn.brbrGreat care has been taken to create a truly welcoming atmosphere: the apartment has a bright and sunny kitchen/living room and the generous balcony that wraps around the building (with access from the bedroom and the living room) adds to the feeling of space as you look out at the view. There is one double bedroom (with a superking-sized bed) and the sofa in the living room can also be used a sofa bed. The 65 home cinema system is complete with all UK channels and Apple TV and the dining area comfortably seats 6 people so you can enjoy meals at home and then in the evenings (or on bad weather days) you can get cosy watching a film or reading your book and when it is time to sleep the beds are super-comfortable. We also make sure that the basics are in stock so that you can make tea/coffee and have a glass of wine without having to go shopping straight away!brbrIf you are part of a larger group of family and friends then combining L'Etoile with one of our other apartments can allow you all to be together in the same building but free to retreat to your own space when needed. From the ski piste to the chalet there is a natural path which can be a little slippery with snow and ice. Prior to guest arrival we clear the steps of snow and lay wood chips. However, should there be snowfall then snow clearance may be required during your stay. Should there be insufficient snow on the piste next to the house, it is 400m walk to a snow-sure piste. In winter free luggage transfer is available Saturdays 10am until 4pm unless very poor weather conditions.
