This is just the cutest little cabin that was the original homeplace for this property back in 1865. We both love LONESOME DOVE so we named this cabin for GUS. (We built a two bedroom CLARA'S CABIN at the other end of the property. Both are very private and have their own sense of a peaceful getaway.)brbrIt has been updated in keeping with respect for both its age and our modern needs. The kitchen boasts a new stainless GE gas stove/oven and a stainless GE fridge. It has a porcelain farm sink and the floors....while not old....are stained to match the old plank flooring in the rest of the house.
