The highlight is Marino Ballena National Park, featuring the famous sandy Whale Tail where migrating humpback whales can be seen just offshore. You can whale watch, dolphin watch or snorkel.brbrUvita also makes a great base for exploring Dominical (12 miles North) which is a fun, funky hippie and counterculturist enclave with great shops, dining, live music, candlelight yoga, spas, bars and beach. brbrThe tiny town of Ojochal is 9 miles to the South and is known as one of the best foodie town in Costa Rica. Ojochal also offers easy access to Playa Ventanas, a small and beautiful beach famous for its sea caves.brFor those who enjoy golfing, the southern pacific’s only golf course, Osa Golf Course, is an easy 20 minute drive south. brbrBallena Bliss is a private home with no shared spaces. Guests will have the exclusive use of the property and the swimming pool. brbrA private vehicle is strongly recommended as private transport is not always available.brbrA 4x4 vehicle is always recommended, but other 2x4 vehicles can access the property. Osa Property Management drives a 2x4 Toyota Escort Sport that can easily make it to the home. brbrThis part of Costa Rica does not have UBER and private taxis are not always available. brbrbrThe first floor of Ballena Bliss was designed to incorporate enjoyment with both the inside and the outside of the home, but blending into one connected space.
