Unfortunately, the fireplace is not functioning, but it is a beautiful lounge feature and is great to look at. There is also a built-in desk, so if you need to bring your laptop away, there’s a designated workspace. Cinnabar has a large bookshelf with tons of books to read while you are away. brbrPlease note that Netflix is an app on the smart TV and doesn't have a specific house account. Flooded with light, the kitchen features a range stove cooker with an exposed brick wall and an old-school bench to prepare the perfect family meal. The Kitchen is fully equipped and includes a Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine, dishwasher, hob, airfryer and microwave. Many a Christmas dinner and Sunday roast have been cooked in this kitchen so you can ensure it’s equipped for all occasions. brAs you meander through the two archways on either side of the kitchen Aga, you’ll find a large family dining room which comfortably seats six guests. This is the perfect space for entertaining, having a family meal or relaxing after an adventurous day exploring the Northumberland coast.brbrbrDrawing RoombrAcross the hallway is the drawing room, which is usually the kids room. It features a comfy sofa and armchair with a fireplace and surround, a smart TV with Netflix, and a selection of DVDs to watch. This room is a real favourite for the kids, with traditional chequered tiled flooring and a pink bathtub this home will feel far from your own and is truly a magical place for children to explore. brSecond Floor:brUp to the second floor, you’ll find the master bedroom, twin room and the second of the two bathrooms.brMaster BedroombrThe master bedroom in this property is completely unique. With incredible wallpaper, panelling and a four-poster bed, we can guarantee this is unlike your bedroom at home! This is such a peaceful spot to unwind, the mattress is extremely comfortable as well as luxury linens and throws. The main focal point of the room is the giant window that overlooks the River Tweed. With two perfectly situated rocking chairs this is comfortably the best spot in the house to watch the sunset. brThird BedroombrNext door to the master bedroom is the twin bedroom. This is ideal for children to be next door to their parents. Whilst this room is very inviting for adults it’s also very enchanting for kids. The owner has gone for a very subtle but fun decor with lots of flamingos featuring. With two comfortable full sized single beds, anyone will have a guaranteed peaceful sleep here. This room also overlooks the River although children often overlook the views and are more taken by the flamingos! brBathroombrThe second bathroom is very modern and calming. Large stone tiles line the walls of the large walk-in shower. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the overhead rain feature shower head. brOutside:brThe courtyard outside is shared with our sister apartment Cinnabar, and access is shared through the big green gates, so please ensure these are not locked from the inside. You’re welcome to use the BBQ in the courtyard and enjoy Summer evenings outside. We do ask that you share the space considerately with the one bedroom apartment attached. brbrParking:brA visitor parking permit is provided for one vehicle during your stay. It gives you free parking on the street outside of the green gate. We only ask that the parking permit be returned at the end of your stay for the next guests.
