There is a track which takes you down from the house to the edge of the estuary and kayaks are available for use while the tide permits (approximately 2 hours either side of high tide).brFor winter stays, the gas fire place and double-glazing ensure you can stay cosy and warm while watching the tide ebb and flow and experiencing the beautiful sunsets. There is a firepit that can be used when fire bans are not in place but you will need to supply your own wood (can usually be purchased from the local Four Square)brLocated in Taimoana Close, a quiet cul de sac,set back from the hustle bustle of Mangawhai Heads, it is only a 15 minute walk to the golf course and Mangawhai Activity Zone for the kids.
