Premium location, peaceful setting, beautiful views.

Nice location - house modern but living area is a bit spartan - couches uncomfortable. Very noisy when windy (hard to sleep at night).

What an incredible stay! This hilltop gem in Mangawhai exceeded all expectations. The views were absolutely breathtaking — panoramic vistas of the rolling hills and sparkling ocean below made every moment feel magical. The home itself is a masterpiece of design, combining impressive style with comfort in the most seamless way. The open spaces, sleek modern furnishings, and attention to detail created a perfect, relaxed atmosphere.We loved the large windows that let in natural light and allowed us to take in the stunning surroundings from every room. The outdoor area was equally impressive, with a spacious deck perfect for lounging and soaking in the scenery.The property was impeccably clean and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Whether we were exploring the nearby beaches or simply enjoying the tranquility of the home, it was the perfect escape. The host was warm, friendly, and quick to provide helpful tips about the area.We can't recommend this place highly enough — if you're looking for a luxurious, stylish retreat with incredible views, this is the spot! We’ll definitely be back!

The house was very spacious and well equipped with beautiful views across to the sea. The living area was very comfortable space is very relaxing. The house is right up on the hill which means the sunsets and sunrises are beautiful but we did experience some unusually very windy weather which made the house shake her little! Also there was no air-conditioning upstairs bedrooms so after a hot sunny day it was very.at night

Our families arrived from South Africa and Canada for a 3 week family reunion and this property ticked all of the boxes for everyone. We never got tired of the views or the daily beach walks/hikes. The kitchen amenities and barbecue made cooking easy and we ate in most of the time. It was a short drive to the new grocery store and if you don't want to eat in, the village offers a selection of eateries. However you do need a car to get around town easily. Communications with management was excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to book here again if we ever return.

We stayed for 3 nights. Loved it. Better than the pics. Quiet and stunning and modern. Pros: So private, views from every room. Bathtub was amazing. Gas water so endless and good pressure. Three bathrooms ideal Cons: Two smaller rooms are quite small and the beds are quite soft. No Aircon in any of the bedrooms and there are no blinds in the kitchen or lounge, which none of that may matter to some but was our only negative feedback. We would still go back.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay - the property was immaculately clean and had fantastic views with easy access to the beach and walks - plenty of room for the family, great indoor/outdoor spaces with outdoor table/chairs for bbq'ing - definitely a place to return to!

A great bach for a small group, gorgeous views from the top of the hill. Great location for Mangawhai heads beach. Bach was a great size for our group of 5. We could also make use of the tennis courts with the bach rackets. Would love to see some other beach toys supplied such as body boards. Up a steep hill for the adventurous runners out there.
