Set at the end of a long drive amongst mature bush is this secluded slice of Magical Mangawhai paradise. The cottage has been lovingly refurbished to capture the essence of beach holidays and the 180 degree estuary and ocean views are quite simply stunning. Upstairs features two bedrooms, one with a King and another with a Queen. There is also a third bedroom locateddownstairs which features a Queen. With decks on both sides of the house and large bi-folds there is great indoor/outdoor flow and plenty of options whatever the weather. There is also direct access to the estuary down a formed bush track with 150 steps to ensure you get your daily dose of exercise.
With two double kayaks available on request (don't worry they are stored at the bottom of the track!), explore the estuary and the huge sand dune a couple of hours either side of the high tide. Or alternatively laze on the deck with a good book and/or a cold drink. Watch the colours change on the estuary and dunes as the tides ebb and flow and the sun rises and sets over this picture postcard view.
For entertainment this property also now has a 55 inch SMART TV and soundbar.
The property is also in a great location for everything Mangawhai Heads has to offer, within walking distance to the golf course, Mangawhai Activity Zone, shops and cafes and only a short drive to the surf beach.
With three bedrooms and two bathrooms it is suitable for a small family and friends/grandparents or a couple of mature couples. This is truly a great place to relax and unwind even when Mangawhai is at its busiest.
Please note that the bunk set shown in the photos of the Downstairs bedroom is no longer present.
LINEN OPTIONS: To keep your holiday more affordable, for this property we offer linen as an optional extra for guests who prefer to bring their own. If you choose to bring your own linen, you will need to supply top and bottom sheets, pillowcases, towels and bath mats. Pillows, Duvets and Duvet covers will be provided.
Alternatively, a rental linen package is available for $25 per person. To request this service, please add a note to your booking specifying the number of people requiring linen and which beds you would like prepared.
