Hellenthal is situated at the gateway to the beautiful Eifel National Park. The house is centrally located, offering cycling and hiking opportunities directly from the house. Numerous other activities are available in the immediate vicinity. The apartments are completely newly furnished (including new kitchens) and fully equipped. There is free Wi-Fi and a Smart TV (with the option to stream from your phone/tablet, so you can watch everything you're used to at home or log in to Netflix, Disney+, etc.). Free parking is available (including an indoor garage). In winter, you can enjoy the Weisser Stein winter sports area in Udenbreth. You can walk and cycle directly from the house. Several hiking trails pass by our house, and after less than 100 meters, you can walk from the cul-de-sac into nature. The Olefthalsperre reservoir is approximately 1.5 kilometers away. A 13.5-kilometer hiking and cycling trail runs around this beautiful reservoir, leading all the way to the Belgian border. You can find various hiking and cycling trails on the Hellenthal municipality website. The Wildfreigehege, just a few minutes' drive away and easily accessible via a hiking trail, offers beautiful scenery with the famous bird of prey/owl show, many other animals, and a playground.brbrThere's plenty to discover and do in the surrounding area. A visit to Aachen, Cologne, Bonn, Koblenz, Trier, and Maastricht is highly recommended. All cities can be reached within an hour to an hour and a half by car. Or visit the wine regions of the Ahrthal or the Moselle. Other tips: Monschau, Blankenheim, and Bad Münstereifel (beautiful half-timbered villages), the Nürburgring, Phantasialand, Lake Rur, Lake Kronenburger See, the Kyllradweg, and the Vennbahn.
