This family house is nestled in Roundhill Village on 1/3 acre with two vacant lots on each side, which is great for privacy. You can even steal a peak of Lake Tahoe from the kitchen and deck! Our large kitchen includes a 6-burner gas stove with 2 ovens, which is great for an eat-in breakfast or dinner. A large side by side refrigerator and dishwasher complete the kitchen. On the deck, right outside the kitchen, there is a BBQ stocked it propane (BBQ utensils are in the drawers right inside the sliding glass door)brbrThe upstairs living room is equipped with a 55-inch flat-screen TV and a Bluetooth Sony soundbar system that can play music from your phone, devices or the TV. There is also a double sided fireplace that is between the living room and the kitchen. This living room also has a pullout couch. Extra bedding and pillows are in the built-ins right insidee the master bedroom as well as a queen size airmatress in the master closet!brbrThere is also a large downstairs family room that has another large 55 inch tv, Pool Table foosball table and comes with a large bar, complete with a sink, dishwasher, and a small refrigerator. brbrThe Master bedroom has a California king bed with a 37 inch flatscreen TV and two sliding glass doors to the rear deck. Our unit is just a 3 minute walk to the HOA Clubhouse!brbrNote: Our unit does not have handicap access and there are approximately 30 stairs to reach our front door/first floor. During the Spring, Summer and Autumn months enjoy relaxing walks in the neighborhood and close by Rabe meadow. Elk Point is a great central location for exploring Lake Tahoe. And once winter is upon us it is a short drive to Heavenly Base Lodges on both Nevada and California sides. There are no large hills to navigate which makes driving during snowstorms much less stressful. And if you visit during the summer months you won't want to leave this little slice of heaven! brbrThis cozy home is located in the private gated community of Elk Point on the Nevada side of South Tahoe. It is wonderfully decorated & has plenty of room for your family to enjoy. There are 3 Queen Beds and 2 Single beds (singles suited for children). brbrIt is just 3 miles from Stateline casinos & the Heavenly Village. Safeway supermarket is just up the street. This is not a lakefront home, but year round you can enjoy the large sandy private neighborhood beach which is a SHORT WALK away. It is a large sandy beach with volleyball court and roped swim area. No need to fight the beach crowds or get in line at 7am just to get beach parking!!! Enjoy the lake at your leisure!brbrThe house has a wonderfully cozy feel with a modern kitchen and wonderful dining area. The yard is fenced with grass so great for families. There is a big family bedroom which is like 2 separate bedrooms only with no door between them so perfect if you have little ones. There is a small 3 person hot tub located on the back deck. brbrGuests have access to the whole house with the exception of the garage which is locked off. There is a carport to park underneath. Please note that there is a security camera located in the carport which will be on during your stay. brbrPhoto ID must be e-mailed or texted to host to confirm your reservation. This is required by Douglas County. Additionally, all guests over the age of 18 must acknowledge they have read and understand the house rules. Signatures will be required upon check in. The local contact will personally meet you at the house to collect the signatures and make sure all Douglas County and neighborhood HOA rules are understood and will be followed for the enjoyment of all. We are also happy to answer any question and give suggestions on area activities etc.brbrSNOW REMOVAL NOTE: Whether you came to Lake Tahoe to hit the slopes, build a snowman, or simply to relax by the fire, staying at a private home there are a few added responsibilities in regards to snow removal during your stay. I provide snow shovels and ice melt which are located next to the front door. If there is a snow storm during your stay of more than 5 inches someone will come by to clear snow in the parking area. I will also come by to help clear the front and back deck usually within 12 hours. You may have to dig your way out if you need to leave before the snow can be cleared. The neighborhood roads are plowed by the HOA caretaker and Elk Point Road, past the neighborhood gate, is plowed by the County and usually cleared at least once a day during a storm. Highway 50 is cleared on a regular basis during storms. brbrDuring winter storm periods I make sure to stay in contact with guests regarding local conditions to make sure they have any vital information regarding the weather and road conditions. I want you to be safe and enjoy our winter wonderland!brbrI live close by so am available to you should you need anything during your stay.brbrMaximum nighttime occupancy is 8 people. Maximum daytime occupancy is 12 people.brbrGatherings and events that exceed the maximum occupancy of the house are prohibited.brbrMaximum of 3 vehicles are allowed at property. Guests will be issued 3 parking placards which they and their guests must display on the driver’s side dashboard of their vehicles.
