The towns of Forres and Nairn are 10min and 25min away respectively. Slightly further a field Aviemore is 1hour away, Aberdeen is 1hour 40min, Fort William is 2hrs 30min and Perth is 2hrs 40min.brbr1 Mains of Burgie is a perfect base for the multiple activities on offer in the area. The area boasts multiple wild swimming opportunities from sea swimming in Nairn, Findhorn and Lossiemouth to Loch swims in Lochindorb and Loch Ness. We can not begin to list the walking and hiking opportunities in the area, though we do suggest starting with our own arboretum!
