Relugas Mill is a charmingly restored former miller’s cottage, over 200 years old. Lovingly modernised and thoughtfully extended, it now offers a spacious, light-filled retreat – perfect for families, couples, or friends seeking a peaceful Highland escape. The cottage features a large, bright kitchen and dining area, and a recently added sitting room with French doors opening onto a full-length covered veranda. Here, guests can enjoy views of the generous garden and tranquil, unfenced mill pond. A wood-burning stove, central heating, and double glazing ensure a cosy stay year-round.

Set in secluded, mature gardens, Relugas Mill looks out over the dramatic Findhorn Valley. A path leads directly to the riverbank for scenic walks – ideal for stretching your legs (with or without a dog).

The house features two halls. The back hall is ideal for outdoor gear and fishing rods, and includes a utility area. The front hall opens into the high-ceilinged, spacious sitting room with seating for eight, a wood stove, Bluetooth speakers, and a hidden 48” TV. French doors lead to the veranda – perfect for al fresco meals. Also downstairs is a large twin bedroom with French doors, and a nearby bathroom with a walk-in shower and free standing bath. The kitchen, with windows on all sides, has an extendable dining table for up to ten guests.

A comfortable staircase leads upstairs to a single bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a bright master bedroom. All rooms enjoy excellent natural light and expansive views over the gardens. The shared bathroom includes a large walk-in shower.

Outside, wildlife thrives in the peaceful garden. The old mill pond features a floating pontoon with seating and a handrail for wild swimming. A sheltered patio with barbecue and fire pit sits at the rear – perfect for long evenings under Highland skies.

Recently upgraded and excellent wifi with 'Full Fibre' 165-300 mbps- perfect for those needing to work while on holiday.

Child-Friendly: We can arrange a cot and high chair upon request, so you don’t need to travel with them. Please just ask at the time of booking.

A Dog-Friendly Retreat: This property is a dog’s heaven! Up to two well-behaved pets are welcome on request for a small additional fee. Rest assured, this is an extremely private spot with complete serenity — a perfect place for dogs to switch off and relax, just like their owners.
