There is a pool, outdoor bbq area, al fresco dining, and cinema room to keep the whole family entertained.brbrSince purchase we have invested in renovating the outdoor pool area and landscaping. The house has gone through a total rehab with fresh paint, lighting, all new furnishing, window treatments, and more. We worked with an interior design company in Lisbon to really make this house stand out from other rentals in the area. It is a house that we plan to live in during the winter months so we made it a home we would enjoy spending time in. No corners were cut!brbrAs a couple who has rented many homes in the past we made sure Argila House has some of the amenities we love most.brbrThe upstairs has two master bedrooms with their own ensuite bathrooms. So much easier traveling with friends and family when you have your own private bathroom. There are four bedrooms total upstairs (one has bunkbeds for kids or your friends that snore). The house has expansive views of the Ocean (2.6 km away) from multiple rooms.brbrWell equipped kitchen. We are both former chefs, so we know. Professional grade cooking gear, appliances, and knives. The dining room table that comfortably fits eight and a large couch and comfy chairs for chilling.brbrTwo separate work areas (one upstairs and one downstairs) with desks in case you need to be on a work call and you don't want to bother other people. Super fast fiber Internet service (1 gig) with a high speed WiFi mesh network.brbrHead downstairs and you will find a cinema hangout room with a 65 smart TV (Apple TV also) and lots of seating area. Just outside the sliding glass doors there is a lot of open space. The pool has lounge chairs, umbrellas and is just missing a cold drink in your hands. Next to the pool is an outdoor kitchen and eating area. Lots of space to move around.brbrWe bought the nicest mattresses we could find in Portugal. It is a must along with comfy pillows, sheets, and comforters. Plenty of free parking right outside. It is a quiet residential area and people park in their garage.brbrLots more of course, but a couple to highlights for you. Our house is newly renovated and has great spaces for big groups of people indoors and out (8 adults plus children). Its a nice mix of modern, rustic and traditional Portuguese elements which make one feel at home among the breathtaking views of the hotel below and the Atlantic ocean. Children are welcome, since we have a little boy, and the garden lends itself well to both big and small visitors. An outdoor jaccuzzi (for 6) and eating area (bbq) as well as an outdoor fire pit make evenings all the more enjoyable for the adults, while the other garden holds a small vegetable patch which children enjoy checking for ripe strawberries and cherry tomatoes! The first floor has a large modern kitchen, a dining room with a fire place, and one bedroom with bathroom. Upstairs another living room provides ample play space for children, while 2 suits make sleeping arrangements very comfortable. The last two bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom with bathtub and allow access to the back yard. We offer superfast wifi and a bluetooth sound system, as well as cable tv in both living rooms.brEriciera is surrounded by several fantastic beaches and lives up to its claim to World Surf Reserve. Guests can also visit the National Mafra Palace 10 minutes away, or Sintra around 25 minutes by car. Summertime always means the village is thriving with visitors from around the world who come to appreciate the numerous gastronomy festivals and layed back atmosphere of the village.
